Hi mate I have an issue... like your vids so thought I'd see if you know. sb2 ... analyse tracks in serato.. shiws bpm n key as tiud expectvin library... load track bpm does not show on virtual deck.says tap... which button on sb2 do i press please

what do i do if i want to press one of the hot cues and get the track to continue playing from there? the guy in this video said the track doesn't stop playing when you press the hot cue key. thanks

Hey, great tutorial. Question for you ... can you use the sync button to bring the track playing out loud to match the track in the queue? that would seem to make more sense, being able to speed up the existing track to the incoming one.

Hi Lou, could you let me know what exactly do you want to achieve with the Sync mode? You can sync the beat or BPM of the track playing in the Master deck with the new track in preparation in another deck. I'm not sure to understand with "bring the track playing out loud". More details will be appreciated. Thanks!

great tutorial man, question: i have an SB however i havent looked into many samples, like can i isolate any part of any song say a nice airhorn (bad example i know) from a regular track and put it into the sample bank? How can i trim the song to just get the sample? Need to do it in audacity or something first? cheers man, more vids plz

biotechno100 You can just use a program like Free Mp3 Cutter to cut any MP3 you have into a piece you may want to use as a sample.

David Badiola only as a loop. But you can't take samples, no.

some of this is in the effects tab ...there are flanger and other effects in there ..other than the ones on the console ....even on intro ...just icase its been over looked

The auto loop switching like loooing a one beat then changing to manual to reduce it in half doesn't work with DDJSB2

had mine a couple of months now ...and i dont go on it everyday ...and i'm still learning without the full serato dj ....but then i was on vinyl for 27+ years ..so just finding my feet on controllers ....but i got fed up with lugging 2xtechnics 1210's djm600 and crates of vinyl up and down stairs ..i'm getting old now !!! how do you get that effect when pausing the track? It sounds like the vinyl coming to a stop, I own the DDJ SB2 and all it does is stop the track immediately.

You can set the parameters for the +\- The video is set at +\- 8 but you can make this number larger.

On an unbiased opinion this or the traktor s2 mk2 with an kontrol f1 (comes with full traktor). Traktor seems a big more powerful with more samples and effects.
