hi ieddy gaming good video and good start 2023. dcuo game and dcuo pvp is broken. bugs , speed hacker outher problems have dcuo. daybreak will make money and dont care about players, fix dcuo game. now exec. producer, lead designer, creative director have leave daybreak. dcuo is ps3 game from 2011 with unreal engine 3. dcuo game is crash on ps5 and xbox series x. warner brothers muss take licence dcuo from daybreak and give outher game company .

Aside from the money spent, I would like to see the game saved. I see it as a time capsule.Kevin Conroy and the other notable voice and acting talent are part of this game and cannot be replaced. Retro gaming is supposed to be a thing and I see no reason not to market it as such. As a true blue-lifelong-genXer comic nerd, I would love to see the legacy of DCUO preserved.

i wish they could recreate the game on a newer engine and just port our characters and progress to the new one but i know its not so simple : , (

Hey man, i said the same thing a yr or 2 ago in game chat when a bunch of people left. Nobody fresh out of college or a seasoned vet wants to work on this archaic architecture. You can't build a resume off of this. That's like me as an accountant working for a company still using Lotus 1-2-3, while everyone else is using Excel. 😁

Sucks for all of us who paid Sony $200 for a lifetime subscription and thrn when daybreak takes over their business answer is to just ban all of us and left to deal with the industries worst customer service. Daybreak deserves to fade into irrelevance!

Finally! those developers sucked time to get new ones who are actually passionate about Games and its Fanbase, I also believe mepps need to get off as community manager same goes to the support employees, They need to clean daybreak simply fire everyone and get new people to work on it, or get support from epic games.

@Cosmos Equation If you think they're going to find developers who are "passionate about the game and it's fanbase" I have some ocean front property in Arizona to sell you. I swear so many dcuo players seem to have no idea how business works. A developer being passionate about DC is meaningless. Because the developer will have bosses and will have to do whatever those bosses tell him/her to do. Also fire everyone and get new people? People from where? This game is using unreal3. New games are being developed on unreal5. Like others have stated, if you're in the game development field this game is not a place one goes to build a resume or get experience. This is gaming Siberia. So the pool of developers they can choose from is very small.

The we do not know but here our speculation. The main argument is mostly oh they still use Unreal 3 but the Lost Ark. Rocket league and Mass Effect use it also this is not like Dcuo is the only one.

This game has been plagued since week 1, remember the DDOS attack on Sony right as it released lol. It will keep going I hope, it's like 1 of those things that can't be killed and refuses to die hehe. Thanks as always for the vid

Maybe they should contact their local universities & make a partnership with the IT department to intern students for the game before they graduate & that way they will always have rotational staff.

Just imagine they do new dcuo in ue4 or ue5, ohh boy i would love it, but really doubt it.

we will get 20 years of DCUO and 100+ episodes, just gotta ride out this rough wave.

what powers would you say are the most chill/low apm? could you suggest a few for each tank, dps, and healer?

Sorry I missed your comment earlier. Dps = Munitions Tank = Not any, it's a stressful role. Troll = Any power, most relaxed role. Healer = Not any, 2nd most stressful role.

The end? No, too big to fail, they will find someone even if not as competent as previous workers. DCU0 isnt just some flavor of the month game that gets binned for no good reason.

Aw man! You have missed some great years. But oh well! Game isn't going anywhere for another year or so. Enjoy it while it lasts 😁 just don't spend too much money on it.

It will be a shame to see it go. I spent a chunk of money but a lot of time getting making a member of every lantern corps. Just got gear for the black lanterns. Don’t take this away it’s the only game that scratches that DC itch. They will never make one like this again, if they do it would turn into fortnight all the way with a battle pass or some shit and I like the retro vibe. Me my gf, sis and her bf all play this game together it’s one of the few we can all agree on.

Jack Emmert poached all the developers. This is fact. You can look these people up and see where they're working now. The marvel MMO was cancelled, Jack walked from being daybreak's ceo, started his own gaming studio that develops mobile games, and took all these dcuo devs with him. This is exactly what happened.

Turn the PvP back on!!!!! turn on the ability to chose in the beginning of the game whether or not you wanna be in PvP or Pve phase they took that out it was there before it would save PvP and possibly save the game with reasons to protect the beginners bring back the wars and the helping low levels now it’s just a run throu game no purpose without the PvP phase

Lmfao. My god. Dcuo is a licensed game. Daybreak pays Warner for the license to use the IP. That is 100% completely separate from anything James Gunn is doing. And just for the record, Gunn's exact quote was "The actor playing a character in animation will also play that character in live action." Nowhere did he mention video games.

Unfortunately the game is dead. I hope some day they bring it back to life... 10yrs old graphics, game-play poor, community lost, etc... I love this game, but man, DCUO must to be re started URGENTLY!

There's plenty of people willing to fill those positions but DCUO is horribly antiquated and should have probably ended 5 years ago. They'll never give us a new super hero MMO as long as they can still milk money from this one.

But... The unreal engine 3 makes the game what it is.. There will never be another DC game like this if it ends up ending, but becuase they are making so much money, i don't think it's going anywhere soon and we can hope to see some drastic changes in the future..!

I dont want this game to die I spend way too much time and money in this game, had extremly fun and still its just not as fresh as its used to be. They need to fix the Combat/Skill Point system they need to be honest and start changing the game to UE5 as soon as possible even if the grafics didnt change much the new ppl who work there can Fix that later on thats not as big of a deal. And they need to stop focus on the Money making part almost every DLC is the same, we want to have new mechanics new bosses or a clasic DLC, like i always say put out a new DLC with classic Batman vs Joker, Superman vs Lex, Wonder Women vs Circe its simple and good at the same Time. And I dont wanna start with the no new Power Set idm if it takes a long time to do that but at least give us something or refresh old powersets like put in new abilitys I mean u can easly think of something new like the new OpenWorld Boss the tornado u could have easly put that as an SC in Fire and we would of been cool with that, but no they dont think that far. I really Hope they get thier shit together and Start to do something thats good for the game starting with a new Graphics engine to get fresh ppl with thier ideas. Keep up with your Content... Cya

The game will still be up in 2024, at least for sony & xbox. Check their calander as a new ep is listed for those consoles. Nothing for the switch (at least not right now)

Aw man! I always advise new players NOT to spend a single penny for atleast first 2 months. 630 is a lot haha. I think in last 4 years I have spent around 200 😁

I think if this game actually dies then it deserves it. as someone who still plays this game I can tell that the developers really dont give a single f about the game they do the minimum. The graphics are still ridiculous even worse then wizard 101, the pvp is beyong dead, the content is the same all the time basically copy paste, and the mechanics are not fair at all, players with arts less than 160 and skill points less then 350 are useless in open world pvp and in elite raids, and theres infinite amount of bugs everywhere. Not to mention how easy it is to do speed hack in this game. Why this game still alive? They have to do something

Well, they may come on top after this on a really really optimism scenario. But is not a good symptom when your core developers leave and the mid-upper management, i've seen some medium size development companies in chile with the same, they all went to hell when the ceo left (most of the time). And i don't think "fresh minds" will join to work on an old game engine, will be mostly seniors, sadly in the tech industry when some new shit comes along, everyone jumps into that train until there is some new shit out there :(

the dc needs to reboot or make dc 2. but if you do dc 2 pass the cosmetic items and skill points to the new game.

This can go two ways. We revive the dev team with the money coming in from the marvel mmo. Hopefully some motivated devs that will not cause the damage Jackster did. Or this is truly the beginning of the end of dcuo.
