The spooky bags only give seasonal candies, collections and buffs.

Kind of new to fire tanking but why take mesmerizing lasso instead of fireball, fireball inflicts burn which would help with healing. Is it for the lasso’s stunning?

Yes it stun adds and it can also be used for pulling adds and getting agro very quickly. Say you’re running a raid with two tanks and you have to separate bosses. One tank has an aoe pull which will be engulf and the other has a taunt which will be lasso. If there are adds also, one tank will tank the boss with adds and the other tank will tank the boss only. If the tank that is tanking the boss and adds die, you can quickly grab the boss and adds with lasso, until the group revives the other tank, thus preventing a wipe. If you use fireball it takes a longer time to grab all the agro.

Hi gaming prodigy, i am starting back dcuo after a while and i want to level a fresh char. I was looking for a tank , do you think fire or atomic would be best ? i wish to set up more as a battle tank with might based. and i am really shared between those two.

Both Tank powers do good damage as battle tanks, however If you looking for a tank power that can tank all content such as elite and elite plus, fire is better. Atomic main shield density still needs a buff in my opinion, and you also get interrupted when performing the combo with atomic and that can be a nuisance in some instances.

There’s no rotation with tanking you use powers as necessary when needed. Need to pull adds use engulf for ranged pulls, backdraft to cc the adds. Pop shields one at a time. You want to cycle immolation and hard light shield. Try to have a shield on you most of the time so you don’t take a lot of damage.

Why do you say to use a skill point on Mesmerizing Lasso but then it is not used on your loadout? Am I missing something?

Lasso is a taunt/pull move that is going to be switched with engulf when certain mechanics are involved, where you need to separate bosses. Normally in situations where it involves two tanks. Use engulf when you’re solo tanking and switch it for lasso only when there are two tanks. Always good to be prepared for different situations depending on the mechanics of the instance.

The seasonal consumable buffs are the best ones to use, because they stack. You can use the ones that Increase your health, and also the ones that increase your restoration.

What about base mods, restoration or dominance mods in the base?

You can use restoration since it helps with healing, shield strength and it also increases the heals you get from mystic symbols of the seven artifact.

Returning to game. Is absorb heat patched?

I believe it is I've been using it and I was never using it for the Health side I was mainly just using a heat vision then absorb heat I made it so heat vision sets the enemy on fire then I will do more damage on absorption

You still get a lot of healing from absorb heat but once you cancel the animation for it, the healing immediately stops. You can still use it but you have to be more strategic while tanking.

It’s crazy how you could get dc’ed before you get to a dc que 🙁
