does this also work with the steam version ? somehow mine is not working

can someone help me set this up? I don't understand this and am having trouble getting started in this area. I am not as technically savvy as you gentlemen!

So my first question is, my pc is connected via ethernet, can I just plug by Samsung Android tablet into the pc with a USB cord or do I somehow connect the tablet to the pc over my wifi?

Your home network includes both wired and wireless connections. My DCS desktop is connected via ethernet and my Chromebook, which I run this app on, is connected to my wifi, and it works just fine. You just need to make sure you know what your devices' IP addresses are on your home network so you can point them at each other (the desktop client has a configuration file you can edit with any text editor to edit in your mobile device's IP, and the app has a field in settings for your desktop's IP).

It's an Android-only app as far as I am aware. I believe there are iOS equivalents but I've not seen anyone on DCS Discord or on the Hoggit subreddit mention a Windows version. That said, I suppose if you could run an Android emulator on your Windows tablet you might be able to get it running.

This is a cool app but when I try to install the scripts it messed my game up so had to delete and reinstall the game. Got a refund on the app purchase. I wish there was a video tutorial on how to set this up

An old version of the script used to crash my game. However, if you delete the script folder it solves the problem. No need to re-install the game. The newest version of the script runs without a problem. It also has a good tutorial on how to install it.

My mfcd is not showing the rest is working fine tho

Can this work on Fire HD tablets?

No idea. I can't see why it wouldn't if you can get access to the Google Play store, but I'm not the one who wrote the app so I can't say for sure.

Yes I use it on mine... you have to load the Google play store though...

The app I demonstrated was on a Chromebook. I do believe I recall seeing people on Hoggit mentioning apps like this for iOS, though.

I couldn't make it work for the life of me.

That's just my local network IP, not my public IP. Won't do anyone any good without being on my home network.
