MiG-21 is my favourite aircraft of the Cold War in DCS. For beginners this machine may seem difficult to control, but in competent hands it can shoot down 3-4 planes without any problems, the good thing is that the speed allows us to choose the fight and dictate our terms to the enemy, and 4 missiles (I don't use the option with 6) give you the opportunity to make risky launches. And if you are tired of dogfights, you can diversify patrolling with strikes on ground targets. And of all the Cold War machines I've flown, this MiG is the one I feel the most character in. It's the most fun to fly.

Hmmm I’d have to agree with you there. I personally like the older reticule designs on the older aircraft then todays modern ones

Thanks for doing my suggestion mate, glad to see it! I personally struggled a bit doing well on ECW with an A2G Fishbed cause I would keep getting intercepted, but this gave me some hope to do better, so thank you again

if you set the right knob to 2.5 when using the grom the pipper will be where the lock on is.

Really loved seeing what the mig21 was capable of. Didn't know it has that neat air to ground missile. I'd love to see you try air to ground in the F5 sometime. Oor you could try one of the trainer jets?

@@DTMCRAZYGAMING I've only ever done one IFR flight training in the C101 but I oddly enough find dogfighting in the L39 a really fun time because of it's turn rate. If you decide to rent either make sure to take off with 60% fuel. The L39 at least burns fuel REALLY slowly and that weight reduction makes a world's difference in flight performance. Also the small little gun debug button in the bottom center of the L39 is really useful to let you shoot regardless of the speed you're flying at

Hey just as a FYI with the grom you can set you radar beam on the target and lock it to ground stabilise

Try the GROM in A/A, I'm not joking. For A/G, you did not lock them. Radar beam on, piper on target, TDC depress.

I use ReShader add on. Gives you a tone of options to color correct they way you want the game to look. Definitely must have!

@@74Grizzlyman I will later in the day, but just know that all computer monitors are different. So if you use the exact settings, I have they may not come out, looking the same. It’s just a good way to start off and then tweak it overtime.

I was just about to say it's much too dark and over saturated. Muddies the whole image especially with KZread compression on top.

I can't find enough Mirage F-1 Vids to judge if I want the module or not. could you make some F-1 vids?

I’ve actually made 2 of them. Showing off the CE and EE models. Personally not my favorite but I know a lot of player like it… you should try DCS free trial if it’s available for the F-1
