I'm going to be fully honest, I'm a total drama stan but these 3 songs are way better thanthe tdwt songs. They seem more just like songs if you know what I mean, they have tension, upbeat, depending on the song. But in tdwt all the songs are quite upbeat no matter the lyrics (oui my friends for example - sierra mad at cody but it's still a happy sounding song. But these have proper emotion - just my opinion

Magenta slayed that challenge for real. But props to the VAs this was a stellar showcase.

Shockingly, the songs didn’t make me horrifically cringe, which is good. I definitely like Magenta’s song the most, who knew Jake had such a beautiful voice, and he’s not even high on my list. Yellow Team was disappointing, since it has my favorite boy, Yul, in the song, but it wasn’t awful. Cyan Team was good, but not amazing, except for Aiden’s voice. He was very good.

The yellow team's song is such ear candy. It makes me feel all tingly and shaky (in a very good way), especially Connor's "Livin' the moment 'till I die". It's so monotone to the point it sounds better than the rest of the song (imo). Such an underappriecated song.

I don’t get why people are saying Piggyback is off beat. It really isn’t. There are some notes on the off beat, but that is how some songs work. It is ok to have lyrics/music on the off beat. It’s ok if some people do not like that some lyrics are on the off beat, but don’t say the whole song is off beat. I would say this song is the most rhythmically satisfying and inclined song out of the 3. - This is from who has studied music for 13 years. On another note, I really liked Magenta’s song as well. Super good vocals and lyrics to the song. It was the perfect genre choice for the song too.

I didn't even try to nod my head during it, to be honestly, but there are a few things I kinda liked. (6/10)

My favs in this musical are prob! Ally: her grandpa is right! She had the vocals! Aiden: his VA is a singer, and he ate?! prob the best this episode or ally! Grett: she was clearly the best on her team! Loved her verse! Jake: it wasn’t like amazing, but it was emotional and I really liked the verse even tho the timing was weird kinda!- The rest of blue team: they also did good! Gabby was great! Ellie is an okay singer but, with gabby, she ate! Tom also did pretty good! Ashley: Ashley didn’t get noticed much but tbh, she ate! Yul & Riya: they both did well!
