It was the lead hook. Ref didn't see it because Ngannou has phantom power with his lead hook. Also if you check the rules of boxing elbows are not allowed. If Ngannou had thrown an elbow or been knocked down I would have deducted a point from him. If Iron Mike had bitten Big John's ear off I would have deducted a point him too.

Before the Wilder fight he fought a nobody and got cut badly then beat Wilder. Tyson had no idea what Ngannou was bringing to the table. There are no tapes of him boxing. I believe he took him lightly and didnt train as hard as he said. Nganna was patient and didnt do much making it possible not to expose himself to Fury. fury has weight 277 before when he beat wilder in their last fight. the fight was not an exhibition. I think Francis should come 10 lbs lighter closer to 265, 262 range in other for him to finish the fight. I hope they do the rematch, let's go Francis

But how long will the Interim HW (UFC) champ have to wait to fight for the real belt? About 10 months.. that's a long time unless they choose to defend somewhere in that time frame. They could let Stipe fight for it vs the winner.. If he wins then that would hype the JJ fight more since they both have belts. But if Stipe loses then it diminishes the JJ fight. Or should they just let Stipe sit out for almost another year? The timing is just really bad now.
