Hi Brad, first time watching one of your reviews, I stumbled upon it searching for dc icons. Excellent detail calling it out like it should be and comparing figures, size and toy line. Can I just point out that some how superman needs his red trunks, red boots with the yellow belt. think ill be making minor adjustments to my rebirth superman and batman figure. Thank you for sharing this great review.

I'm ok with Wonder Woman's scale. I think that as an amazon, she is supposed to be taller.

I definitely love this set. Aquaman and superman is my favorite out the entire Alex Ross 6 figure set. The only thing I don't like is the sculpt and paint applications to the flash. I was wondering did you have a Instagram or fb so I can show you my dc collection.

I wish they'd have Cyborg with the really shiny metallic plastic like the old super powers line. Cyborg never seems right without it.

Great review! I really like the Superman look but I mostly have The New 52 7" scale or DCUC or Arkham figures. These or icons are just too small scale to me.

I prefer the Rebirth Batman costume over any version that has been seen since the Neal Adams one.

+Marcos Kain I think my favourite interpretation/design of batman lay somewhere between the pouch belt Jim Lee version and the classic Neal Adams. Although the rebirth suit doesn't rank high on my list I can see why it may be just right for others. It's definitely a departation from anything we have seen. I'm glad you like it.

The Trinity Batman & Superman 52 look way better . this is a very good review thank you for posting this video . the rest of the rebirth figures look alright wonder woman is beautiful .

I got the set and you have the same concerns I did. For me, I display the Amazo Virus Wonder Woman with this set. That one fits in much better scale wise. I may swap Aquaman's head with the single one, but the flesh tone is a little off. Everything else alright. If I could do my own recommendation is to look for the individual figures on eBay or wait until it's price comes done. Great Review.

+tringrad50 Absolutly agree about swapping heads. I recorded a video that's soon to go up about just that. It also fixes the problem of the small head on the Mattel New 52 Aquaman. I agree about looking on eBay. I'll likely pick up a few more Superman figures just to take advantage of the headsculpt. Thanks for watching. :-)

Love the review, good job! However, I have yet to see a comparison of the DC Icons 7-pack vs the New 52 7-pack, just to see what figures would work from the latest if one wanted to mix and match. Still, you did a detailed review and answered a lot of questions for potential buyers. I am a DCU 6.5"+ figure collector, and trying to decide if I should find this WW on eBay. The only thing I am on the fence about are all the closed fists on the figures, including WW. What were they thinking? Also, Wonder Woman without a lasso, let a lone a sword and shield? I think that was a huge miss. Thanks for the review.

I would love to do a comparison with the Icons New 52 7-pack but DC Collectibles cancelled it. saaad. They should have at least given us the Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman from that pack in a Trinity box set.

I loved the Flash and Cyborg so much that I got 2 flashes and 3 cyborgs. I put Cyborg in a Titans display and a Justice League display and Flash in a JL display. The extras are for play

I can totally relate. Sometimes I’ll get more than one of a figure for multiple displays. Usually not at once though but over time. Collecting here in Canada is through-the-nose-expensive.

Not a big fan of the rebirth suit either. Don't care for the head sculpt on the figure, especially when you see the upcoming dc essentials batman and how spot on it is, plus I prefer the blue. I do wish his cape was more like this one though. I've already sold off this set so my old icons batman is going to have to be the go to until essentials start dropping. I think I may be the only collector out there that actually loves that icons batman, it's too small but the sculpt is amazing imo.

Baz. I know how to pronounce Baz. I didn’t then. I had never heard it and wasn’t sure if it was pronounced in a culturally different tongue because of his middle eastern heritage.

xHaloxReviewerx117x Good question. I prefer the body of the Icons but like the size of the Mattel version more. I also like the Multiverse headsculpt better than the DC Icons one. Also, the DC Icons Superman’s paint flakes of inside the knee and elbow joints while the Multiverse is molded in blue plastic so it can’t peel. Hmmm. I’d still have to go with the Icons version.

Cristino Fuentes These all aren’t. I don’t recall saying that. Only Wonder Woman really is because she is really big. However, this video is really old so a time stamp for me would make it easier to reply. Maybe you could fudge Superman in but they aren’t quite the same scale.

It's a shame to not get Simon or Jessica. I don't like Hal as much as you do, he's not my favorite Lantern, but I do like him. Still, Simon or Jessica would be more interesting.

I agree, Hal doesn’t make sense in the Rebirth box set. It’s just a sign that this was intended to be the cancelled New52 JL set. Simon and Jessica should have gotten a two pack at the very least.

I was really lucky and I got it for $77. I was very very lucky to get it that cheap

How tall is aquaman

that's actually a different green lantern sculpt, you can tell its proportions are a tad bigger than the single release

I'm not so sure it's an entirely different sculpt so much as a scanned in, enlarged and redone figure. That's something I've seen done before by Gentle Giant. You can also tell if you look closely that the shoulders have been sloppily filled where holes were.

Absolutely. It was definitely too small. I think, even though he still seems a bit scrawny, Hal looks better now and fits with the box set better than the previous release. Sure wish they would release the New 52 Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman in a Trinity Pack. That would be sweet!

Sammy Long At the time I had a brain fart and actually forgot his last name altogether and then tried to recover. The videos were really rough back then and I just left it in. Yes I know how to pronounce his name. Baz as in spaz. It was just a thing that happened and to tell you the truth I had never said his name out loud before that.

Batman and aquaman have horrible head sculpts and wonder woman's face paint is insane.its annoying because this pack is so close to being spot on. It works great with some customization

There's really no point to buy this pack. None of the figs have accessories and most of them are the same as their original releases. Save some Money and just buy the original aquaman, original flash, the single carded Wonder Woman, the new deluxe cyborg and try and find green lantern. Hell don't buy the batman and superman on eBay Dc collectibles already announced the rebirth batman and superman are gonna get single releases in the fall and they'll probably have accessories.

+Alex Sinibaldi Not gonna lie. I was more than a little surprised to see DC Collectibles announced the Superman and Batman Rebirth single carded release in the fall. Sadly no they will have no extra accessories just the figures. I personally wish they released the New 52 box set as originally planned while giving us the Rebirth ones as single releases. Heck a Trinity Rebirth pack would have sufficed. Thanks for stopping by. :-)
