I think the first one is something that could happen, since james gunn is introducing green lantern into his new DCU.

Batman Beyond movie would be heavily CGi. All that future rendering.

The only reason Marvel movies are good is because most of their characters are street level. Like Wolverine or Deadpool and character like them is easy to translated into film. Where to Superman or Green Lantern is alot harder to do the same.

Marvel has significantly change some of its characters that’s why it has been easy to adapt. For example the nova corp in the first guardians movie; the nova corp in the comics is more like the green lantern corp.

@weshurst4895 it's why Batman has so many movies. Street level characters are easy to make on film. Marvel most popular characters are all mostly Street Level characters. So they can say Hollywood has been making superhero movies but really it's only a few. The movies everybody like the most are all mostly Street level hero's.

DC never was as good in the comics, so I’m not surprised the movies fail.
