Yeah, it’s misleading. All drawing starts with a few basic strokes. I mean, yes, he “technically” drew this from the word “joker,” but it’s not really a foundation as it is just a word he wrote then covered it up with the real image. Literally any word, phrase, or simple image could have been used instead of “joker” and it would have changed nothing except a few stroke decisions.

The "Do I really look like a guy with a plan" line was just a manipulation trick he used on Harvey Dent, so he could get rid of the remaining mobsters of Gotham.

i'm amazed by how simple you make it look. no erasing, perfectly done on the first try with uncanny resemblance. this is real art.

Astounded that you fit all live-action versions, including the Gotham TV show version. With so many animated versions, I respect that you could only choose one, and am glad you went with the iconic DC EU version.

More than likely he already drew it once before the video to make sure the letter placement etc was right and how he could incorporate them in to a piece. Then he would essentially reference and copy the first drawing.

Probably used blue lines (they don’t show up on camera if drawn lightly) he sketches it with a blue pencil then comes in with the fineliner pen and just goes back over it.

I loved how he included Mr J from Gotham. I do wish it was Jerome or could've been some kinda duo Joker. To me, he'll always be the Joker. Because his brother, Jeremiah, loved Bruce so much. Jerome really had nothing to lose. That's why he didn't care if he died or not. That's what made him so power. Jeremiah was really awesome and even after the chemical. But I really do think even watching that whole show. Even at the ending. You can still feel the presence of Jerome laughing at his chaos he caused.
