Dang, I haven't seen this db art style in years. Also, this song is LEGENDARY.

In honor of the creator of DBZ and his famous drawings, made me feel nostalgic. We're so sad about his death, he passed away aged 68. Rest in peace, Akira Toriyama (1955-2024).

Toei, please do not take down this song, it's absolutely amazing, and deserves to be on KZread, even if it's posted to your official channel, I'm all for it, just keep it up in some form. :)

Gohan’s new form in Super hero felt like a cheap knock off of his super saiyan 2 moment, the difference between them is that Gohan actually trained with Goku for a year and learned the fundamentals needed for ssj2 like getting super saiyan 1 first and mastering it with Goku, that’s how the moment is earned Whereas in the movie, Gohan thinks piccolo died again (for the millionth time now) then he just gets mad and gets a new form out of nowhere, this moment is not earned Training used to be crucial in dragon ball for character development and power progression, but nowadays in DBS you can suddenly get as strong as the plot needs you to be out of nowhere with no explanation or just “Charecter A keeps adapting to Charecter B’s power in their fight with Charecter B”

I grew up with Kai for the first part but so glad I watched Z about 4 years ago, cuz while I do enjoy parts of Kai’s music choice over the original, nothing compares to songs like this or Chou from the original. These were the golden glory days of DBZ and I’m so glad I got to experience it if only a little🙌🏾🔥🔥🔥🔥🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

Personally I love both the Faulconer Score and the music in the Japanese Dub in DBZ. The Japanese dub really scored on the song, I really got into Unmei No hi, Mind Power Ki, and We Were Angels.

Kai ain’t bad, but it skips over a lot of the more exquisite details that Z had; like some of the side stories with the Piccolo’s and Goku’s driving test, Gohan meeting General Tao and some of the original DragonBall enemies making a comeback, and even Goku having the excursion with that demon lady while running on Snake Way. Kai took away all of that, and I never would’ve known how much work and dedication actually went into the series had I never watched Z.

I wanted Perfect Cell to come back with memories of Gohan and a vendetta against him: especially as Cell himself said that getting bigger and stronger is pointless if speed and mobility suffer : Cell Max is just a giant version of Semi Perfect Cell and recoloured

@@RaviBajnath Android 17/18 and Cell didn't follow Dr Gero's orders completely; 17 killed Gero after all. Cell was/is the most intelligent villain in the series too

For those who watched it without spoilers, it was the best plot ever. NOBODY, absolutely NOBODY expected Gohan to save the world. Gohan is far from the spotlight for the entire saga, until this moment. Gohan would be the protagonist from the beginning of Z, but his low popularity prevented this. But it would all end in Cell, so the author tied the story together as he planned: With Gohan being the strongest in the universe. And then we had filler sagas.
