Wow, it feels like I've been working on this project for ages! But it was all worth it to pay tribute to my all-time favourite manga artist and writer, #AkiraToriyama Sensei. I wanted to create something unique that would capture the essence of his work without resorting to the clichés that everyone else uses. That's why I decided to record the opening to Budokai 3, my absolute favourite DBZ videogame ever, instead of playing Dan Dan Kokoro Hikareteku, which is so overdone.
And let me tell you, the entire Budokai 3 soundtrack is amazing, especially with @stevelukatherofficial on guitar! I mean, seriously, that guy is incredible.
Putting this all together wasn't easy, though. Just the editing process alone took me a good 4 hours. But in the end, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I hope that Toriyama sensei would have appreciated it and that it does justice to his incredible legacy.
So long, Toriyama sensei. Thanks for all the amazing memories you've given us. Your work will always hold a special place in my heart.
