Subscribed! I'm always looking for BSD reactions...it's really one of my fave anime and it has so much rewatch value, sadly there very few reactors. Yes it has stellar cast :) The girl here with the butterfly (Yosano) is voiced by Annie's VA (since you seem to have watched AOT). Lots of AOT/JJK/Black Clover VAs in the cast. Also, majority of the characters are based off real-life authors from around the world, and their abilities are based on their works :) for example, Dazai's famous novel is also titled 'No Longer Human'. I love this aspect about bsd!

OMG!!!! Thank you for the tidbits and for following us!!! 💞💞 Like Pramit said, I forgot to mention the thing about the authors. I was going to admit in episode 2 reaction that out of curiosity I looked up Osamu Dazai just because he is probably the most popular character (I already knew him before starting the show). Let me tell you, if I had read this man's biography before starting the show we might have needed to pause during the character's introduction because I would have died. I would have needed my inhaler. I would have gone nuts. I cannot, belatedly, get over the dark humor of this messed up introduction 🤣🤣🤣 I guess it's good I didn't know because I don't think I would have been able to concentrate on anything else except that this man that kept trying to kill himself in real life and drowned on double suicide was introduced trying to drown himself and his character was made into a suicidal maniac 😭😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣 I told my husband who doesn't even care for anime (I know, SHAME!!!!) and even he was laughing and saying WTF. I did get a bit of a spoiler on some American authors, like F Scott Fitzgerald and Nathaniel Hawthorne. I thought to myself that if Fitzgerald can make himself or anyone grow young or old at will I would facepalm and as for Hawthorne, I don't remember much about him except that I HATED reading The Scarlet Letter. As a teen I said "I hate you" and I didn't care to read anything else by him 🤣🤣 Maybe this anime will make him more interesting than his bore of a style. Well I shouldn't have that opinion.... I should try again, it's been an eternity after all 🤔 But anyway, I won't bore you anymore with my own ramblings 😅 I do tend to get wordy. For me it’s another aspect of bsd I enjoy-geeking out regarding the relation to the real-life counterparts XD there are more fun trivia to discover later on, once you get to know more characters. The BSD creator really played with the relationships, and values of the authors. And about Hawthorne, funny, another bsd reactor mentioned he also hated him LOL Just some advise before I forget: please don’t skip the Dead Apple Movie after watching S3, as it’s canon. People might mention it later on too. And after S3, I suggest watching the BSD Wan spinoff too! It’s so fun and a much needed therapy break for what will to come later on………

I loved your reaction! I’m excited for the future ones I started to watch the show in September-October..I love how each season is different from the last…I also like dazai and another female character that hasn’t been introduced yet.

OMG Thank you!!! 💞💞 Really means so much to us as a brand new channel! We are just two silly people that love anime hoping to contribute a little piece of us to the community. We have our so called "discussions" at the end of our videos but when we truly stop being silly and engage in something more serious is in conversation in the comments with all of you. It's a lot easier to gather one's thoughts in writing, imo. And I myself am rather wordy 😅 I did love Dazai, and not for the obvious reasons like him being attractive. The dude is incredibly amusing as a person and his unaliving antics are hilarious (of course, only because it's a running joke). I also can't wait to see what our Maneater has in store for us as he tries to not only accept but gain control of his shifting powers. The whole gang seemed like a bunch of properly assembled weirdos and I'm here for it. I really hope to see you again in our future reactions!!!! After 3 months of posting videos regularly you tend to lose your focus and forget why you were doing this in the first place. Outside of Dadaism attractiveness- he’s quite a curious character to me, especially his tendencies to his favourite hobby as it made me more interested in seeing how his character arc played out just like the other characters. I loved your reaction and after reaction as if was quite interesting to listen to, and the fact that they’re based off of authors makes it pretty fun as well

I have only looked up one, and that is Dazai's, and knowing that he tried drowning a few times until he finally succeeded and that's how we meet the character in BSD is just... I don't think I have any words 🤣🤣🤣 IT'S SO MESSED UP but I'm laughing, going straight to hell here 🤣 ~ Vero ~
