Dayshawn is the first kid I’ve seen that actually gets excited over gifts & actually says thank you for what he receives. Just goes to show that he actually has manners.

@@munazzatahir228 I don't know if it's Alicia's influence because anytime she has received a gift she always says thank you. Some of the kids are autistic so they might not have the social cues to pick up when to thank their parents.

Let's not perpetuate stereotypes about autistic people by saying that their lack of social cues is the reason her kids are ungrateful and don't know when to say thank you. These skills are very much taught to children by parents, autistic or not. D was clearly taught to express gratitude at an early age, while her other kids have not had this expectation growing up.

He is such a grateful kid, you can really tell how much he fits into the family and loves you guys. So happy to see how far he’s come

He’s really come out of his shell. He’s becoming so mature and he’s so happy and content. Really proud of him for staying humble.

I was once DayShawn and I can tell you that the life and love you are giving him will change… is changing his life and I am sure helping make up for a lot, in addition to helping heal so much trauma. He totally deserves a birthday month. As do all kids, in my opinion, but especially kids who didn’t have birthdays for most of their childhood.

I have loved watching Dayshawn blossom 🥰

Dayshawn is so sweet just like all of these kids because they are so loved and they appreciate it because they didn't always have that kind of attention. Alicia, josh and their supportive family are amazing. I love watching the videos. One of the very few I watch regularly.

my parents also threw me parties when I was kid, but always gave me practical gifts versus what I wanted LOL. like bedsheets. I think its so nice you are able to do this for your kids, one day they will be off in the world and will look back and cherish what you did for them. you dont appreciate it when you are young, but definitely will when you are grown.

That is super cool, that Chick-fil-A. Comp that food for the vet clinic. I am an animal lover in my mom was a huge animal lover involved in 2 of our local rescues in this area of upstate New York. And I absolutely love Chick-fil-A. You will always find a Battle of their original plus in my refrigerator now that I know that they sell it! LOL. I love it when people pay it forward and I know that you guys do all the time with donating different things especially around the holidays and being involved in volunteering donating stuff. I think that is amazing with all of your kiddos being more than happy to donate or to help put packages together to donate. Like you guys did last year? I believe was with the backpacks full Of stuff for the kiddos that you guys did I think it was last year??? My daughter is ❤ Is now sixteen, but ever since she's with 4 years old, she has given up one of her Christmas presents so that we could donate 1 tutorials for tats. Not that we couldn't have donated one and her keep the present that she sacrificed, but that was something that she chose to do, she said to me what was the big box in the you know, when you walk into Walmart and the big thing is there with the toy bin to collect for that. She asked me what it was and so I told her and then she said to me. Mommy, can we give them one of my presents? And I'm like to explain it to her. You know, that would mean you would get one last present if you wanted to do it that way, or you can get to see all your. Presents and you can still donate nope. She wanted to donate one of hers. So we've always done that, which I've always thought was super cool for a four-year-old to kind of come up with that like that. And then to our local animal rescue, they had had a couple of times where they had animals that needed a lot of surgeries and things and expensive bills, and she twice has taken money out of her personal account and donated to the animal rescue. So I think it's super cool when kids get involved like that. You know, they've learned the value of a dollar. They learned that it's not all for them. You know how to not be selfish? How to be able to sacrifice how to be able to pay it forward? And all that I just absolutely love it. When I hear about kids doing those types of things!

So very nice to hear him say "thank you"!!!!!!
