Guys, guys, guys. Love ya, but allow me to fill you all in: In Sept. 1983, Friday Sept. 3, Renee DuMonde DiMera Banning Marshall DiMera throws a huge party revealing that her father left HER EVERYTHING. She swears her revenge and vows she's a survivor!!! But, then gets murdered. LOL! She was my favorite and years later, when I moved to LA - I booked her as a guest on Leeza (a talk show) and we shared a 25 year friendship until her untimely demise in 2021. Philece shot her scenes with the characters prior to her departure for these drop-in possible scenarios. BUT, her death threw a curveball - on purpose - as they did not want to reveal Stefano was returning - so no one even guessed it was Stefano as he would have never killed his beloved daughter. First, this story was called the BRADFORD CURSE, as Eugene thought he was at fault as Renee bumped into him after her town party tell-off, then his wife Trista fell victim, and his Aunt Leticia. Now, viewers even saw "Eugene" kill his Aunt Leticia with a knife in the back and a Raven feather in the hand - with poison from an exotic plant to insure death. (Renee's autopsy report revealed the poison as the knife was no where near her heart of major organs). The viewers think it's Eugene. THEN, we are to YOUR episodes here where the viewers see "ROMAN" knife Daisy, the hooker in front of Marlena and Sandy. It's daytime so they could not really show the knife going into her back but it's there and was in Trista's back and Leticia's and so on - and when "ROMAN" goes to kill Hope - there is a knife in his hand, but she escapes to tell the tale. So, now the viewers think it's ROMAN. FINALLY, "ROMAN" removes his mask and it's TONY!!!!???? WHAT?! Tony would NEVER have killed his love, Renee, so what gives- because that is Tony, or is it. FINALLY, again, LOL, it's revealed that Tony is Tony's cousin Andre who had surgery to look like Tony. And the man masterminding all of this is.... FINALLY, for real, LOL, STEFANO!!! He is the Phoenix!!! Philece did return in the spring to shoot her actual murder scene. She realized that Andre is not Tony and goes to get Roman, and Andre panics and stabs her to death. Dumb ass! Renee was my fave! NINE MONTHS LATER - in May Sweeps - it all comes to a dramatic conclusion as Stefano plunges to his death into the Salem River after Roman thwarts his plan to blow up the Salem Concert Hall. (ps SANDY, boring Sandy, could never replace Marlena - they wrote her boring ass off)

Thanks for filling in the blanks. We’ve been watching clips that are mostly Bo and Hope centric so we’re only seeing pieces of other stories. We’re now in the final week of 1983 and we’re watching full episodes so things should be more clear going forward. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and comment ❤️

Lisa Trusel played Melissa until 88 when she dumped Jack. She was gone a year when they kind of recast her as a villain with Camilla Scott. That's why i still think they should have made her Gwen's mother. Trusel came back several times after that over the years for big events.

Sandy never did come back unfortunately, you are right.

I believe that those scenes with Renee were all filmed before she left.

Yes, Philece shot possible killer scenarios prior to her departure. BUT, she did return in spring of 84 when Andre reveals why he's kept his cousin in chains and sadly, for Tony, why he chose Renee as the first victim.

Stefano was apparently shot and killed after kidnapping Marlena and Liz.

Also, if you have those 3 eps you are discussing please post!!! I have all of Philece's from her personal collection (she didn't have anything post her death). I have to post them - they are amazing.
