As an avid Aldi shopper, I will tell you that you have to go there knowing you won't find everything like a big box grocery store will have. It's unfortunate, but you really can't beat Aldi's prices! :)

Did I spot the new puffer coat on Brandon in this video? Seeing that made me smile. My 17 year old son is the same way about clothes. I buy him nice things and he never wants them. I recently ordered a new coat from Lands End for him. He wasn't impressed with it, but he broke it out of his closet yesterday evening when a friend came over and they socially distance visited on our porch for an hour or so. We always know what our family members need don't we. They just need to trust us. :)

Even on a fresh tree you don't have to take the lights off If you don't want too🥴🥰 you can just tuck the plug into the bottom of the branch and it saves a lot of work

Aldi definitely isn't usually a one stop shop for me, but with the amount you save it is usually worth it to go to two stores! I get what I can from Aldi and then make a second stop for the obscure items I didn't find. You may also want to find when they re-stock because your store looked kind of empty and the usually have a better selection for fruits and veggies.

I understand what you mean about Aldi, we have one in our town and I try to use it as much as possible (it is harder to do so now, as we are back in full lockdown here in the UK). I am enjoying seeing all you are doing in your home. Thank you for sharing your devotional with us.

I'm from the uk & I didn't know until earlier this year that there were Aldi shops in the states/outside of Europe! it's weird to see how different it looked compared to ours plus when you said it was quiet ... in the middle of the day!! that's unheard of over here, it's always so busy aha! 🥰

I can totally relate bcuz I encounter the same issue shopping at Aldi as well. I find the produce pickings fall short and not as fresh sometimes. Also feel like the other food products taste different and kind of lacking in flavor. With your style I think linen or linen looking curtains would look really nice on your windows. Aldi pickup is amazing if you haven’t tried it. It’s only $2 and they will bag your groceries for you and put right into your car. I use that for our staples, and then can go to the fun stores for other foods! It does save a ton though!
