I always used to get depressed and sad when it was cloudy and cold, you can imagine how it was living in Germany but having been born and raised on a tropical island. One day I spoke with a lady around the corner in her shop about me hating the weather and being depressed about it, she said to me: THE SUN IS ALWAYS SHINING EVEN WHEN THERE ARE CLOUDS. That idea was for me so profound that from that moment on I never got depressed over weather again, I would remind myself that the Sun is always shining and imagine the sun shining on the clouds that are blocking it. She also said, light candles, tea lights are really inexpensive and you can put them all over, and make those times festive. Since then I always do some decorations at Christmas (tasteful) and I use an essential oil lamp with scents like Orange or Pine needles, they also work with tea-lights. ( I heard you complain about the price of candles and I agree) I have never been depressed again since that advice. Hope this helps.

Yea because their skincare sucks 😭 it was only hyped bc it was ”natural” and ”organic” but now that people have realized that doesn’t necessarily equal good skincare it’s kind of died

They’re too expensive and never have sales 💀 like at least do a Black Friday sale or something. I stopped going to them for body wash because I am too poor to pay $15 for a travel sized soap when I can get a better method brand large one for $8

I loved seeing you guys at the renaissance fair! I'm always going to a fantasy festival in my country (not quite a renaissance fair, more like a fantasy fair, but same vibes). I love how nive everyone is there, and how everyone gets to be weird for a day, if they want to. So happy the enthousiasm of the people at the renaissance fair infected you too!

Benji I think the garment you purchased at the fair is called a jerkin. I sewed one once when I worked in wardrobe at a Shakespearean theatre.

trying different fits for your shirt/pants can help, i like to wear a high waisted pant with a flare or more relaxed/wide-leg pant to vary the proportion. adding a fun belt like something western-esque or a double grommet can also help dress it down a bit!

It’s my old cardigan I got from South Korea while doing study abroad. I found it at a random clothing store in Hongdae. You can probably find some similar cardigans from online retailers though
