I`d advise you to check Young K cover-project - "YOUNG ONE", there`s a lot of English songs (btw he is fluent in it). When Young K performs on stage, he makes facial expressions that match the lyrics. I don't think He 'always' smile. He use facial expressions appropriately to match the mood of the song.

I don't think that always smiling was meant to feel like he smiles whenever the mood of the song, but usually he is more on the emotionally expressive side while performing, that's for sure. And I love that about him ✨
