Sungjin, Young K, and Wonpil were pretty well-known to be some of the "vocal kings" at JYP during their trainee days!! The band was like an experiment for the company and they were the guinea pigs for a lot of things (busking performances, small club venue concerts, expected to be main writers for all their songs in order to debut, learning instruments, etc), so it's amazing to see their hard work paid off and to see how loved they are by the general public - I wish pre-debut DAY6 could see themselves now!

Day6 are very well respected by their colleagues in the company and the industry. They are praised a lot for being humble, genuine artist that are passionate about their music and the process. TWICE Jeongyeon and SKZ Bangchan would praise Young K for being very talented at many things as trainees like languages, singing, rapping, dancing, composing, and writing lyrics and would tease him a lot as they are close friends. Wonpil and Jinyoung are besties since they were trainees and Sungjin and Jayb too. Love the day6 reaction, day6 are my ult group (along with twice). Some facts about the members: Sungjin is called Bob because Jae said Sungjin looks like Bob the Builder. Sungjin liked the name Bob because it sounds similar to rice in korean and he likes rice, so yea lol. He even dressed as Bob the Builder for Halloween 👷🏻lol. Young K was known as an Ace as a trainee for being able to sing, rap, dance, play instruments, write lyrics and compose. The members would say that they love music a lot but not as much as Wonpil loves music. Wonpil is able to add something special to their music that makes them unique. Jae says he’s a ‘Hip hop enthusiast’ because he likes the genre hip hop and he rapped in day6’s early album but he doesn’t consider himself a rapper. If you have a bias in day6, Dowoon will always be the bias wrecker among the fandom and well loved. Day6 is so relatable because of how awkward they are (because same lol). They are known as ‘Trust and listen to Day6’, ‘Korea’s Super Band’, etc.

For me Young K is the best vocalist of Day6, all members are amazing singers, but Young K is universal vocalist. His voice fits to all genres of music, he has a wide vocal range, from the deep voice to falsetto. You really should see his "Young One" playlist. His covers are so various and so nice to listen and watch.

How the band was formed The main things is: Sungjin, young k, and wonpil. They audition in the same day. Three of them join in got7 dance group. Than after a long time being a trainee sungjin didn't show any improvement. But its a pity to cut of sungjin, because of his crazy vocal. so... Jyp made a new grup... And its a BAND an accoustic team. the member: Young k, guitar Sungjin, cajon Wonpil, keytar Junhyeok, keybord Than Jae come as a part of a band, and made young k change his instrument from guitar to bass Last, 3 month before they debuted as day6 and change from accoustic team to a ROCK BAND. Dowoon came and change the band. And made sungjin and wonpil change their instrument. . The member: Junhyeok, keyboard Wonpil, synthesizer Jae, accousyic, and electric guitar as lead guitar Sungjin, accoustic, and electric guitar Young k, bass guitar Dowoon, drum

Terry is Young K's friend. He's with him during their 3rd degree (group) days.

Like you said in the end of your video. It's crazy to think that these 5 boys came together to create one of the best bands with one of the best discography and best vocal talent. They're so underrated that it makes me sad but thankful that I ran into their music and gave me such a fulfilling playlist. 🙏

Am happy to deliver the good news that Dowoon is now even more confident with his singing in that nice deep voice of his. Even tho its not in the same level as those of his bandmates' yet, but he has improved a lot since his first singing performance. He even released a single before his military enlistment 🎉 And yes, their journey is so beautiful to follow, they are destined to be with each other. Thank you for this. Don’t expect too much of Jae returning since day6 just renewed with jype. Unless the 4 does not renew again with jype then there’s a chance for them to reunite.
