Joe’s publicist. It was a signal to be careful how he words his answers to certain questions. It also provides a subtle distraction to the viewer by slightly redirecting their attention from his wording for a moment. It’s a text-book strategy, you picked up on it I was wondering how many people would!

K 209 I think so too. It’s the voice a real bonafide victim would take to appear more childlike or feminine so that they’d appear submissive and compliant - to avoid giving off any “ attitude” that the father would use as an excuse for dealing out yet another beating on the boys or mother or even a sexual attack on the three girls. All in vain of course.

It's funny...I got to know them better through this interview too and you know...I've come to like Randy's personality because he was just true and frank with his responses and he wasn't trying to be what he wasn't with his thoughts, and I like Jackie as well for the same reasons you've noted. On a personal note, both Randy and Jackie's personalities are like my husband's, which is probably why I took to Randy's personality immediately (the forefront of my husband), and later Jackie (the man that not everyone gets to see) :-).

Yes, they were all a fine beautiful family. When they were The Jackson 5, they were 5 gorgeous men, I said they looked fine as pimps. All it took was one tabloid, criticizing Michael, about some pimples, that started Michael on self improvement. Always having a heart to please the fans. Not knowing there are some with, damn if you do,damn if you don't, they hate you regardless. You can't go around trying to please the world. When I wash my face, and check my appearance, and I'm content with myself, I step out into the world, and just WAIT for someone to say something derogatory about me, and I give them a choice piece of my words. As long as you are happy with you, that's what counts. I just wish when Michael read that tabloid, he had a thug friend in his life, who would have told him, to give them the middle finger, and forget the world if they can't adjust.✌

They're grown now and have their individual lives to live just like other families. Children grow up leave the nest and get on with their lives. I just wish people would leave them. alone.

Boys want to protect their moms, so they will do what ever it takes to cover for the family dysfunction. In fact, when a member of a dysfunctional family tries to break free (Toya); typically, other members will sabotage their efforts. When a person leaves or changes, it creates a void or additional conflict, so the family tries to recreate the status quo. It’s what is familiar.

But why do we feel so comfortable judging the lives of others? We have no idea what his upbringing was like. None at all. What it was like raising nine kids in a two bedroom house. What it was like to grow up a young black man with hardly any opportunity. Not justifying or making excuses, but what I am saying, is we can’t apply a psychoanalysis used for the “general parent” to someone who has an extremely unique situation. Imagine if someone judged your persona on a thirty second clip and didn’t bother to place it in context of the life you’ve had. It just isn’t fair.

How can anyone treat their famly so horribly? Joe Jackson cared about abusing his family and making money. What a awful price to pay. I do believe LaToya was telling the truth. Her story has not changed. She has always mentioned herself and her sister Rebe being sexually abused by their father. LaToya mentioned that Joe beat all of them. I also believed that Katherine Jackson new about Joe abusing their children and stood by and did nothing probably because she herself was getting beat up and abused by Joe Jackson. The family will always denie what Latoya is saying and take the truth to their grave. She was right in saying that you are filled with shame, embrassment, guilt and you do not want to talk about it because some people will say that you are lying. I do believe that she is telling the truth and I am very proud of her for telling the truth about her family even though her family continues to denie it. I believe that she told the truth about her brother Michael abusing young boys years ago before he was taking to court and some people still did not believe it. The media tried to portray LaToya as the crazy one but it was the other way around. It is the family that doesn't want the truth to come out. I thank LaToya for her courage and her will to stand up to her family. May God bless and keep her safe. 2019

So you fire your dad as your manager then marry the guy you replaced him with! If that slap wasn't hard enough - You then accuse him of molesting you? Members of this family have been known to do spiteful things to one another ...this is just another spiteful act.... and some.

If one of my daughters lied, and I think LaToya is telling the truth, about me in such an unspeakable way, I would be confused, hurt, angry, devastated...I wouldn't be nonchalantly telling a reporter on tv life goes on like I'm talking about a neighbor who moved away. Katherine's answer, "It's the worse thing that's ever happened to me besides the death of my mother." Is what an innocent person says.

As beloved as Michael is and may always be...he was f’d up. I believe he changed his appearance to hide himself FROM himself. He was ashamed of being attracted to little boys and couldn’t reconcile being similar to the person he hated most growing up-his vile ass father! That’s the real story. You can sympathize, empathize or whatever else with Michael but know he sexually abused a few kids. Maybe not everyone who claimed he had but definitely SOME! And all of his siblings KNEW on some level. But, Money and Keeping Up Appearances were more important than the truth-except for Latoya. The only “real” one.

I can't tell for sure that he didn't sexually abuse the oldest two sisters, but considering the fact that LaToya was getting death threats from her husband unless she said she believed Michael was guilty of abusing children around the same time, when she initially did an interview defending him in Europe, then suddenly changed her tune, that particular kind of abuse from her father might also be a part of that. Jackie literally said Latoya was a different person.

The wife is in denial that she even says that getting a nose job isn't plastic surgery. What is wrong with her? All the abuse got her brain all messed up.

This is why sexual abuse victims keep on the rise and victims choose to stay quiet. If this allegation is true, the whole family will deny it of course!!!! It happened to me, and i spoke. My own mother said I was crazy. And we aren’t a famous family. I believe Latoya and that’s why she is the odd man out, cause she doesn’t shut her mouth and lie. Im the same.

Liar nothing happened to you either you just wannabe relevant and join #metoo! Stop it with this outlandish lie! Oh by the way LaToya husband beat the crap out of her and raped her, and then he forced her to say that MJ is a child molester and that her Daddy sexually assaulted her. Go do something constructive and go read it for yourself instead of being in this families business. Most of you ppl are screaming for attention and pathetic little lying whiners. Ugh! I can't with this page. A bunch of ppl who listened to their music then as soon as white cry wolf it's TRUE. 🙄 I guess this is the I can't think for myself page for some people who refuse to do their homework and seek the truth since lies sell more.

....they blaming Latoya for telling lies and yet Joseph was the biggest liar and offender to his children and wife. THis monster just ripped apart these people lives and even in adulthood they are dealing with these horrific episodes they went through in life.

Michael has always been there for them (financially), especially when they did bad investments. If And Like Janet ,he was too busy at the timeto stay deeper in touch with the rest of the family. This footage it's from 1993, the same year they set the "Joe day" (Joe's anniversary) An annual Family Reunion at Neverland.
