Tommy Emanuel Simply the greatest acoustic guitar player in the world. Period! (And he is also a humble really nice guy that fosters new talent and has time for everyone). A great Australian!

Now that you’ve discovered Tommy, you should enjoy his duets with his late older brother Phil Emmanuel. It’s like watching identical twins who can speak in unison and finish each other’s sentences. I’ll leave you to discover what else they played so well.

Tommy is unbelievable. He taught himself when he was like 10 by playing what he heard on the radio. He didn't realize that there were multiple guitars so he taught himself to play all the parts on one.

a lot earlier than 10. He was touring with his brother and mother at 6.....

He was a professional touring guitarist at 6 years old.

Watching this made smile so big it was great.. I can imagine my fingers being so twisted up I wouldn’t be able to unwind them for days 😂 loved it.

@@2genreactionsoh lord..it would sound like rubbish out of tune off key and all you can think of that could go wrong would lol. It’d sound like my singing like 2 cats fighting. But I sing anyway lol.

@@2genreactions Tommy practices/plays 10 hours a day. Every day. And has done virtually all his adult life. See what 180,000 hours of practice does for your ability to play guitar...

It has been said Tommy asked were there any guitar players in the audience? "Not any more". 😗
