Yes, avoidance of road tolls. Something I learnt quickly when I moved to France!!!

In 2007 we drove through France on our way back from Glasgow and used the motorway only when it was unavoidable. It's even more expensive than in Italy. In Slovenia you pay a sticker, like in Austria, and you can use the entire network for a certain number of days.

@@patricksmodels Some of the autoroutes are downright thievery. And are often no better than the National roads!
