Hey everyone! I recently attended a Day Out With Thomas event at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, Michigan. I figured it'd be fun to make a little video showcasing my trip, so here it is. You really got some great footage. This will be interesting in some years to see this video as an archive of sorts of what this let’s get colorful Thomas looked like. It sucks but still neat to see

It’s very cool you should definitely visit there I visit there when I was little for day out with Thomas back in 2013

Sadly I didn’t got my chance to visit there this year I visit there years ago probably I’ll get my chance next year to see Thomas at greenfield village
OHHHHHH NOSTALGIAAAAAAAAAA I lived near Stausburg once upon a time and it was mandatory we attended these when I was little! I specifically remember getting a die-cast Skarloey on one of my later visits.

Honestly, I thought those paint spots were just for the marketing material. I didn’t know they actually put that on the real Thomas. Although I prefer him without it, I applied the effort to make Thomas look special for this occasion

Greenfield village is a great place that I used to go to the day out events loads of times years ago. The face was still the creepy old one that I like way to Much.
Drayton Manor better not make an actual AEG real life Thomas in the future...

The thing I like best about Strasburg Thomas is how they didn’t butcher him by adding the AEG voice. They aren’t using Martin Sherman’s voice either, so they’re likely using Robin Smith’s voice from the early 2000’s, that’s the voice I grew up with.

We have a dowt event at tweetsie railroad but our thomas isnt steam powered hes pushed around by either locomotive #190((the dollywood expresses sister locomotive )) or locomotive #12 the original tweetsie locomotive

Greenfield Village makes their own decisions away from Mattel's infamous requests and decisions. The best thing about Greenfield Village is that they continue to keep the spirit of the *real* Thomas alive for how much they care, and not worship/support the reboot in any meaningless way that Strasburg would be forced to do under their contract guidance when hosting these events.
