I think you need to cut yourself some slack! You look like your smashing it to me - try not to put so much pressure on yourself to have a clean house or anything perfectly done - the boys will never remember a ‘messy house’! I always find having a day off from social media helps as well as there is no pressure to be on the phone and post - I know now I have two I am definitely sticking to the Fridays off social media as it’s the day il have them both alone and I won’t be sat on my phone or feel like I need to document my dad - blocking yourself from the apps is the best thing 😂 xx

Thank you lovely 🥹🥹❤️ You know what, about 5 of my friends have also said to me today that I’m way too hard on myself. My health visitor has also said it recently too. The tidy house thing, I do have to try and keep up with as I’ve recognised that it really affects my mood when the house is a mess. But the social media thing, I totally need to have a day or two off from it every week and have actually been thinking a lot about that recently so you’ve just given me the push I needed. I do find I’m less stressed when I’m not worrying about being on my phone/documenting stuff xx

Probably a silly question but what paints do you use? My little one will more than likely try to eat it as he does with pens etc 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️. You’re such a good mum, love all the things you do to entertain them- gives me some inspo for mine!

Hey lovely, we use ones that wash out of clothes, etc. which is obviously really handy with a messy toddler 😅 I think they’re literally just called washable paints 😂 Haha yes they eat everything at this age don’t they 😅 Luckily Joel is just past that stage now, but Reuben is in the eating everything stage. Thank you so much 🥹❤️ xx

@@hayleyemmax3328 aww thank you so much, I’ll order some for mine now!! My eldest is 18months and he isn’t past that stage yet, part of me wonders whether he ever will be at this rate 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣! No probs at all, thank you 😘

Lovely video, enjoyed it very much 🥰 No hate at all but may I ask around how much tv time in a day joel gets? I currently have an 18 month old and with working from home, cooking cleaning etc i'm finding myself resorting to the TV a lot more than i'd like ...

Hey lovely, tbh he has at least 2 hours a day now! (Not all in one go). He tends to watch TV from about 7:30am till about 9am while I get ready (but not solidly for that time as he’ll have a break to eat breakfast, or play with toys, but it’s still on in the background). Then he’ll watch it again late afternoon/early evening for a few hours while I’m cooking dinner and putting Reuben to bed. Don’t feel guilty. We all used to have loads of screen time as kids, there’s just too much pressure on mums nowadays to be entertaining constantly rather than putting the telly on. I think as long as you have a good balance then it’s fine (like we’ll go and do a class or playgroup, and he’ll also have some time outside, plus play time too) x

Your boys are such good nappers, how did you get them to self settle? . My girl is 2 and she can’t self settle, she won’t fall asleep unless she’s lying in my bed with me. X

Ahhh thank you! Tbh Reuben does fight his naps quite a lot. I’ve done a bit of sleep training with both of them, where I haven’t gone in the second they cried, I’ve left it a minute and then gone in. If you do some research in to sleep training it will explain it better than I can, but it definitely helps with naps. Tbh I’m more guilty of rocking Reuben to sleep but with my firstborn I did more sleep training x

Are you potty training the toddler ? My Grandson told his mum when he was 11 months old he wanted to wear big boy pants like his big brother. He took his own nappy off. He's worn big boy pants ever since, he's 6 year old now.

Thats amazing! We will be, but he’s definitely not ready yet. Every child is so different I think. But hopefully he’ll be ready soon x
