As a fellow mama, I just wanted to say: You're amazing. You're beautiful. You're capable. You're also not crazy. You describing how you can go from crying to "I love my baby" is literally every mom EVER. Shit is wild. It's hard to be responsible for another human. Give yourself some grace. You are amazing 👏❤. Thank you for the endlessly amazing content.

Ad a mom of an 8 week-old, I need you to really understand how important it is for me to see someone like you also actually having a bad day. Please keep sharing these moments as well. I feel so much better knowing I'm not alone. You got this mama!

I appreciate your honesty! My daughter is 2 years old and so much of what you said and how you are feeling, I can still relate to. Hang in there, like others have said tomorrow is a new day, a fresh day to start over again. Motherhood is a roller coaster but it’s all worth it, you’re not alone! Best wishes from California ☺️

Awe! I love your pep talk of not having it all together. The day before mother days I started my period, felt emotional, kids were fighting (age 10 and 12), I felt like a horrible mother for wanting space from everyone, felt like I didn’t even deserve a Mother’s Day. I knew it was irrational and just pushed on anyways. The day got better but we all get days like that and we should acknowledge it. Oh and my fridge broke that day too. Lol it was a mess but you get past it and laugh about it later.

I’ve had many days like yours and today is one of them. So much to do but I’m so tired and my son is cranky so we’ve been lounging on the couch as well a lot today. Love your videos Nikole. You are so real and genuine. I love Nature's Emporium. I used to live in Richmond Hill and used to go to the Major Mackenzie and Keele st. location. I've since moved to Toronto Steeles and Bayview and downsized to an apartment so, unfortunately, I don't get there any more. I wish I had a health food store near where I live. BTW, I am post menopausal and I'll tell yah, menopause is far worse than having a period. (I never thought I would say that) Lol. I still get hot flashes from time to time. Your videos would not be complete without seeing adorable Sage and your great hubby and of course loveable Cashew. I am so glad you had a lovely Mother's Day. The first Mother's Day with your baby is always a very special one. Take care and stay well.

Your discussing how you felt at the end was so relatable. I’m in Florida where things are lax compared to other states but I feel like you. I’m just over the whole thing. I’m over people being terrified of each other. I’m over the mask mandates. It’s not enjoyable going or doing anything. I’m old enough to be your mom and you telling how you felt made me feel like I’m not alone with my feelings.

Riviera yogurt is so good! My son is allergic to dairy, among other things, and I was originally getting him Yoso yogurt but they smell awful to me (he enjoys them so that’s what matter lol) but he tried the Riviera brand and all their flavours are awesome and definitely thick! They even have an oat one that has a great texture too. Also, you’re not alone with the meltdowns to “I love my baby” haha I blame it on sleep deprivation/extra hormones lol I’d say it gets better but I’m 4 years in with 2 little ones and I’m still going through it 😜 the true joys of motherhood, but I wouldn’t trade a second of it ❤️

When my babies would nurse less often I would feel bummed out all day because my body had to adjust to not getting as much oxytocin. I did pump the milk but that pump didn't give me oxytocin the way cuddling with baby does. Maybe that's why you are feeling blah. Not that you have to have a reason. Sometimes we just feel blah.....

I had my baby almost 5 months ago, I am breastfeeding. My body has gotten smaller (6lb away from prepregnancy, I gained 37 lb during pregnancy), no workouts and eating whatever whenever. My point is you will loose weight but it takes a bit of time. Be kind to yourself, taking care of a baby is hard and challenging (thank God is temporarily), sometimes I feel like I am loosing my mind 😜

Some women get it right away even when breastfeeding. That's also why you are not protected against getting pregnant again because you might start ovulating again at any time.

No...correct your statement, most mom's don't work with a baby??? You work from home, mom's leave home in the morning , before that there's a shift with the baby doing all the mom things, Leaving home! Going to an office, coming back , cooking dinner, play time, bath time, bed time.....you are privileged to be working from home.

Disappointed that a “nutritionist” is promoting premature infant feeding before 6 months. Please do more research before feeding her before she’s ready. Pediatricians are not the best resource for this topic as they don’t usually keep up with it and are still telling moms outdated recommendations.
