Hi Marissa, I have a question. So if you have your documents ready and the work permit is already made by the company. Who needs to apply for the visa ? Do we apply visa directly from our home country and the Chinese company send us the work permit by post (courier) to our home address in our home country ? Or do we need to courier our passport to the company and they will have to apply for the visa on our behalf directly from China ? Or we do not need the original work permit and the company can send us the scanned copy of work permit via email and then we can apply directly from our home country ? Which one of this is true ? Thanks in Advance.

Hiya Marissa, is there any way that someone who is a native speaker of English can move to China and teach English without a degree? Any tips on Websites or contacts to make?

Hi Richard, Beginning in 2018, China began cracking down on schools that were employing teachers who did not have a bachelor's degree, so unfortunately at this time, a degree is pretty much required to teach English in China (though that degree doesn't need to be in education). You can read more about the requirements for teaching in China here: www.internationalteflacademy.com/blog/requirements-for-teaching-english-in-china

It appears you're correct that this alum may have deleted their account. Unfortunately, we do not have any other contact methods to provide.
