A year old already they dont stay little very long. It is fun to watch the kids grow and develop. The early morning awakening is very frustrating but will pass as they get older I tried to Adjust the nap and bed time that was a disaster and made things worse I saw there was no physical reason for it and continued for a while then stopped my kid did this for over a year. He is now grown and had kids of his own one of them did the same thing this is hard on mom and dad but you will get thru. Both your boys are doing great and looks the picture of health I enjoy your videos and want to watch them grow. Now you are home and boys safe look at the bad weather and just enjoy the time with the boys this time of your life will be the best time that you will remember always. The days will present new issues and challenges that you are not aware will happen but do. When they are grown you will long remember these days. I have been there. My child has been there when you get my age you will remember and wonder as I did. Where did time go???. You are doing a great job and you will see the results of your efforts after they leave the nest. Till then give them guidance and you are raising the boys in a more difficult time than i raised mine. Enjoy these days they fly by so fast.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️😉😃

Jen- have you ever tried putting some toys in their cribs after they fall asleep so that when they wake up early at 5:30 they can play for a little bit??? it worked for me....youre such a good mom ( sometimes a good cry helps ) Hang in there girl

You are a good mother enjoy every moments with these cuteness . Really they are unique . Jakie resemble to my elder when he was baby and he didn't start walking till 15 months . Oh my God tears in my eyes I really long to these moments my love from Morocco

My baby does this too. Every other week, she has a few days of waking at 5 30 am. I get so exhausted and end up crying. But some days she can even sleep untill 9am. Something I have noticed is if she sleeps for shorter duration during the day, she sleeps longer at night. So she has one long nap at 10:30 am and then she wakes by 2 and then she doesn't sleep untill 8pm. I try to keep it to one nap in the day or two very short naps. It's hard to control these things so don't be so hard on yourself. Also that patch it might be a fungal infection like my daughter has. But even with the ointment it never totally goes way. It goes and comes. And I am not sure why. The one thing my doctor/GP did advise me is to apply some petroleum jelly/vaseline to the area to stop it from going too dry or itchy. My thinking could that it could be combination of eczema prone skin with fungal infection.

Its such a fine line and hard to find the balance/ what is going to "fix" the solution. And what fixes it one day does not work a week later its so hard.

Since i gave birth to my twin boys I never sleep more than 4hours they wake up at 5h30 sometimes if I'm lucky at 6 I'm so exhausted 💔

Its so tough being so exhausted but their smiles and love make you almost forget how tired you are

They are so cute

I have to say, the way jackie crawled in a funny creative way, or in an older video, how he crawled with object( carrot or ball), only hints at his intelligence...and how he was so friendly with the dogs in last video, only shows how strong empath he is.( Love of animals, creative)..that's why.i think you should not worry about them waking earlier few days..I just feel empaths tend to stay up in nights or wake up at early hours randomly...🥰🤔

May be, if boys crib is near your bed ( or if you could keep them near in same room) for few days, and then see if they can sleep longer, or may be singing a small lullaby routine of some sort..might help..but frankly, their not sleeping till 6:30 all days, should not cause stress to you.. please he gentle with yourself..🤗

Hey Jen, When did you start giving them formula and which one did you give them and when did they start the bottle with them?

I started supplementing with formula early on and by 4 months they were on all formula. We used Nutramogen (it sat the best with their bellies) and they got a bottle every 3 hours during the day until maybe 6 months then every 4 hours. By 11 months we switched to whole cows milk!

Those twin boys they can eat real good. What a wonderful mommy feed them well. Did his rash go away.

Harris' friend is actually a jeweler and made it for me after i delivered the boys! it says J and B and inbetween is their birthstone

Is Ben generally more chill of the two? He's always just eating and not saying much ahhah

It really depends. He is the more "chill" baby as in not energetic but he is SUPER emotional and needs his cuddles and love. Jack is more "chill" in that he can be more independent but he is way more crazy and energetic

Its a sound machine that plays white noise to help drown out any other noise in the house. The setting we have it on is "dryer" !

I wonder if raisins might have caused the allergy like skin rash on ben...since in few weeks older video, you mentioned starting raisins which they love, and rash also has been around same time... probably stopping raisins fir ben might be a good idea...

The DR said it didnt look like an allergy, more like a contact rash from clothing, chaffing, etc.

I’m late coming to your videos but I’m now addicted. Perhaps it’s time an old grandmother weigh in. You are young and beautiful and mature. You don’t need makeup. I love your hair no matter what time of day, wet or dry. You have kids who actually take naps and go to bed without a fuss. I love those sleep suits! And they work to signal that it’s time to go to sleep. You don’t look tired, stressed, or worn out. You wear exhaustion well! The early morning rising is pretty normal. Before long they will give up their morning nap and may sleep later. The spot on his chest looks like ringworm but it could be eczema. Try switching soaps. I would talk to your pediatrician about Benny’s W sitting. Try to discourage this. You’re doing a great job and your inspiration is global. Not many new mothers can manage that. Now try to make time for a day off here and there and know that it will be good for you and the boys.

Im just wondering. Did these boys sleep 15 hrs a day.during first 2 years. Seems alot.

Ok , I have the answer to your tiny issue , basically the boys are getting more and more active and that is why maybe waking up early n the that red thing that is there is actually rash and maybe because of that the boys are waking up early well actually one wakes up in pain of the rash and other also wakes cause of the cry of other . It may also be that the clothes that they wear on the night maybe sometimes itchy . It's not a accurate answer . Here in India minimum age for boys to marry is 25 n for girls is 18 n kids in the range of 27-35

Not yet! Trying to encourage it though. We are working on their balance since that can walk holding onto something but can't stand or walk unassisted yet

I would always sit near their high chairs and in the beginning I would hand them one piece of food at a time and show them how to put it in their mouths and then I slowly added more to plates still sitting there directing them and after a while by the time I put the plate down they knew what to do!

How can they sit like that? Is it hurt? 😁😁😁

do you color code the twins(blue/green), to make it easy to figure out who is who?

Typically when we go out places i try and put ben in some sort of blue for ben=blue so others can tell them apart. For me I just associate jack with green and ben is blue because that is what they came home from the hospital in!
