Hi jensen. I am planning to go to this university so can you tell us more about it like how many years of school do you need to finish? and the grades that are required to get into business(as i am also planning to get into business but how hard is it?) and also do you need to take art subjects at school since i take science subjects but i am planning to get into business but what are the marks that in need to score in science to get into university?and will they need me to take art subjects or science subjects are fine? and also is their a bill for the food,transport and using the mac? and can you survive in Singapore and the university by only speaking english(since english is my second language) what about the people in the restaurants do they understand english when you speak to them or they find it find hard to understand? Sorry for disturbing but i really need the answers of the questions since i will be taking my boards next year(it is fine if you couldn't answer all the questions tho)❤

as an nus student i experienced a bad burnout recently and was feeling pretty disillusioned, until i found this video by some sort of miracle and it made me feel so appreciative of what i have around me that i fail to really take in sometimes. thanks for your effort in putting it together and your skills are honestly so great! where is your home university! glad to know you had a great time here.

@@mohzinmajeed nusmedicine.nus.edu.sg/contact-us That is the contact page. They are readily avaliable at those contacts. Interviews and submissions are usually in the earlier third of the year. That being said the amoumt of foreign students who actually make it in is minimal at best so your daughters marks and resume must be excellent. All the best.

@@2012muneeb if youre a local, its subsidized at 26grand a year SGD with a bond for 4-5 years. It is markedly more expensive for foreigners.

This video is great and very useful! I miss when I was in Singapore and had the opportunity to experience life at NUS even though I’m not a student there, I was a part of a program that took us there. Looking at all the different areas you captured reminded me of the people I met there and places I used to sit around 24/7. Nus is a fun university to be in especially Utown it was my favorite place! but not gonna lie, Singapore is pretty humid.💫 Thank you for the video!

Dude this video made me miss Singapore so much. I studied at NUS for Spring 2018 and lived in UTown Residences. For anyone that wants to study abroad, you will absolutely not be disappointed if you choose NUS.

Muneeb Ali there are quite a number of fees and critical deadlines to meet. Compared to other schools I’d say the application procedure is “difficult” in the sense that there is SO much to turn in. There are also quite a few fees to get everything in order but overall NUS worked out to be much cheaper than my home university.

My science grades are good but I am bad in the languages does this matter for the application. I am not very good in Dutch because it is not my native language. But I have A's for all my higher level sciences.

Difficulty level / How good are the assignments / Do you learn stuff that are applicable in real life / how has the professors been? 2. What do you think about Singapore? Is the life over there fun? Do you prefer Singapore over Canada? How are the work opportunities afterwards? 3. Did you have time to travel around Asia or did you have to spend a lot of time studying?

Think it varies between faculties. In business you learn a lot about general business knowledge that you cannot exactly apply but it is useful to know (Year 1 & 2). The specialisation modules is where you start to learn things that you would be expected to apply, and the assignments can be difficult since everything is based on a bell curve. Most exchange students come to take the specialisation modules so it will be a good opportunity. But choose your modules wisely that will affect how much you take away.

the videography and editing on this is really amazing!! one question: how is the workload while studying abroad as a business student? i know it may differ from university to university but i'm a first year business student looking to study abroad (and Singapore is definitely on my list of places I'd like to study!) but from what I've heard from older students, there's not many business study abroad choices from my own school and the ones that are available have a pretty heavy workload. obviously the workload is to be expected but I feel if i'm going to study abroad, I'd like to have a bit of a lighter load than back home so i can experience the area i'm staying in more!

Hello, Hostel life in one of NUS’ 6 halls is also very interesting and vibrant! It is very different from other residences like PGP and RCs. People in halls are generally more active in participating in hall activities such as sports, performing arts and clubs. These activities could be referred to as Co-curricular Activities and it is a huge thing in a typical Singaporean student life (most schools in SG make it compulsory for students to join at least one activity under the school) so I thought it would be great to show that vibrant side of a Singaporean’s student life as there aren’t many videos of these documented on KZread.
