In this sports videography video, I bring you along to film a professional basketball game for the CEBL for my work as a basketball videographer and video editor. I go over what I bring to film a basketball game, including my Sony A7iii, 70-200mm f4 lens, insta360 one r, Wandrd Prvke 31 camera bag, and more. I then bring you through the venue, show you how I set up my camera gear for basketball videography, and take you through the complete filming and editing process of a basketball game for the CEBL.

    That first half looked stressful! But like a good kind of stress when you enjoy what you do so thrive under the pressure

    Love your recent run of videos bro, information bombs!! Would love to see your workflow and how you make/use templates for those first half moments where you need to get bits of content out really fast.

    When You use 70-200 f4 in bad lighting, what settings are you usually trying to aim for? Like iso shutter and aperture. For both videography and photography

  • @petersarellas

    @petersarellas

    2 жыл бұрын

    For video I’d usually compensate for bad lighting with ISO up until around ISO 6400 or 8000, at which point I begin lowering shutter from overcranked at 1/400 or 1/500 down to its natural place at 1/250. For photography I’ll let ISO get up to 10 000 if needed and won’t let shutter ever drop below 1/500 because a grainy image can be useable but an image where the subject is unintentionally blurry isn’t.
