I love your videos I’m planning on applying to nursing school next fall. But I’m not sure if I want to do a accelerated bsn or just the regular bsn program. Can you do a video on what made you do the accelerated bsn program and why you chose the particular bsn program your in!!!

That’s exactly what I love about labor and delivery! you can wear so many nursing hats😊 and i think you’re talking about an amniotomy aka AROM (artificial rupture of membranes) edit: lol I commented before watching you insert the word anatomy and the picture🤣

Hi, so I watched quite a few channels on here and could not really find the answer, so here it goes: after the standard clinical rotation, do you get to pick any specialties? If so, how many? I read that you could pick your top 3....if that is true, and there are too many requests for not enough spots, do you get picked based on your grades? Thank you for your time, and good luck!

My school did not allow us to pick our specialties for clinical sites. Our clinical sites were based on that specific course and picked for us. For example, if you are in Mother/Baby lecture, you would have a clinical on a L&D unit or pediatric unit. The only time we kinda got to pick was if it was a more general clinical- like for a Med-Surg class. Then if the hospital has the space, they may allow you to go to the OR, Trauma, ER, or other units of your choice. But ours was not based on grades, more so based on availability/space
