what resolution are you shooting in

Love your channel. I’d like your input. A7siii with 70-200 gmaster and Atomos V for primarily football from the sideline. My question is gimbal or monopod or tripod? And if you can be specific on brands and models please.

Hmmm, so actually when I shot football at Uga I always shot it handheld as weird as that sounds. I’d be on my knees and shoot thru the eye piece, eye piece adds a point of contact so it isn’t as shaky

@@pete_chalk thank you for responding. The UGA clip of yours that a saw is what I’m attempting to duplicate. I like the third point of contact insight. As I think about what I want to achieve, I believe I will fix my rig with a shotgun mic, a larger monitor for framing, rely on the A7siii autofocus and use everything: handheld, monopod, tripod and a underslung gimbal to get a good mix of content. I’m old so knees can only get me to the ground but not up. Thanks again

Question - Noticed that you busted out a Ronin in this video. I am going to college for film production and hope to end up in a similar situation as you. I want stable shots with a zoom lens, so how would you go about that in a game situation? Do you shoot with a telephoto lens on the Ronin ever? Just wondering how all of that works. Trying to make the most out of my new gimbal! Thanks man.

Telephoto lenses are far too heavy for gimbals usually
