I just started a job as a Litigation Paralegal two weeks ago for a big firm in my area......no experience, so it's a lot to learn but has been very interesting. I can't wait to start working on the cases.

Was it hard to find it with no experience? I’ve been trying to find a internship just so by the time I graduate college I’ll have a bit of experience but I haven’t had any luck yet lol.

@@skyjanaee1 I noticed most places around me wanted some type of experience. I think I got lucky with this one because after I got hired, the senior paralegal said they were specifically looking for people with no experience so they could train us to do things how they like, instead of someone coming in with years of experience doing things differently. I think they had trouble with that, and they were stuck in their old ways. So they hired three of us with no experience.

@@shanice1661 The pay is good. I wasn’t sure what to ask for with no experience in the interview but was happy that I got what I asked for. Three months later they increased it which was nice. We aren’t fully remote, but they do let you work from home a couple times a month. I have an associates in Business Administration so no paralegal experience or education. I did work in two other firms but more administrative roles, not paralegal roles.

I also just got a litigation paralegal job, I start on Monday, and I was soooo nervous because I had no prior work experience 😭

I'm in school to become a paralegal and I wish there was more paralegal vlogs out there! Hope you continue to upload :)
