I’m filling out my visa for Japanese language school right now. After 5 years of visiting Japan and over 15+ years of self study, I am finally moving to Tokyo and making my dream into a reality haha 😅 I’m happy to have found your channel!

Each prefecture in Japan has its "International Exchange Association" (Kokusai Koryu Kyokai こくさい こうりゅう きょうかい 国際交流協会), and on your inquiry they will introduce you (as a foreign resident of the prefecture) to Japanese classes, for free or roughly 300 yen per 2-hour class, nearest to your city of residence.

So cool to see this. Japanese looks like an impossibly hard language to learn and I'm so proud of you. Thanks for sharing.

This was a very cool video to watch. Your handwriting is so neat! Seriously, thanks for sharing your process in learning when it comes to apps to look up kanji and stuff. Also the video game stuff. It makes since to decompress with English but to have a Japanese option if you want to learn in a laid back fun way.

Yeah the one piece game is international now, I played a demo of it at a convention here in Italy, by the way interesting that there are no school who cater to both foreign students who come from abroad, and foreigners who are in Japan, so your school does not have ways to offer a student visa or stuff like that

Yea some schools are either like you need to be on a student visa or apply for one

Its always nice of videos to show the realities of living in another country, and yours are quite good at that! And this one made me wonder if you were going to team up with your friend for another "Speak Japanese All Day" video! Hol up there... FREE MANGA, and Dot Hack GU?!?!?? Excuse me, my brain has to explode now. Love the video, and keep living that dream over there!

It is so cool to see how an actual day of a student in Japan looks like! I'm planning to apply to the japanese university and I wonder - what are some characteristics of a good student there? What is valued the most, especially in case of a foreign person?

I'd say the most important thing is trying. Trying to speak even if you might mess up. Asking questions, and genuinely being interested in the language!

I don't exactly want to name my school as that gives away my location. However, each prefecture has many Japanese school all around. Mine is just a private school in Ibaraki.
