Hey guys I have a question if I reapply and pass recruit school how soon after could I move to this unit? if I get all my fire investigator certifications up here in Maine and do those certifications apply in Nevada thanks!

I’m a black man 32yrs old being black I and with the fire departments in Vegas are mostly white. I worry about them treating me differently or making it hard in my to be a firefighter. I don’t care what color you are if you love me then I’ll love you back. I hate all that racism crap. So I hope they accept me on the firefighter team. I want to become a NLV firefighter. It’s more than a career it’s a special job you get to help folks. And I don’t mind putting my life on the line for people I don’t even know. I just want to be apart of something I want to do something important with my life. I want to help people be apart of good positive change. I want to leave my mark. I’ll be a firefighter they only work two days a week. Then have 4-5 days off that’s when I’ll work on my real estate business when I’m off work from firefighting. I want to become a millionaire hell a billionaire just so I can tell and show be a example letting them know you can do and be whatever you want in life. I want to do something similar to what forest gump did. I also want to get into acting and voice acting people tell me all the time I have a great voice and I can act pretty good. And this agency keeps on contacting me. But they are so expensive and I’m on the fence. But lately I have been thinking, fuck it just do it. Then I can tell my story to my grandchildren and other young folks around
