It would be good to see you talking about budget, this would give anyone just starting out a really cool reference.
I'm really glad you're branching out into the on set perspective. It's really valuable coming from your quality of work!

woww i could watch a million of these type of videos 😭 I have 1 question tho, for the contemplation scene did you have any ambient light or was all the light coming from the window?
@TenfoldProduction
4 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching! We have more of these coming out soon. No ambient, just the window light. We had a B7C on a lamp in the back, but that's just for some colour contrast.

I just discovered your channel and am binge watching all the great content. I'd love to know what suction cup mount and the additional rigging are you have here! Great work!
@TenfoldProduction
4 ай бұрын
Thanks! For small setups as well as getting additional mounting points we like to use suction cups like this: amzn.to/3UzuAmZ Any suction cup will do but it has to have threaded mounting points that you can connect your camera to using some sort of friction arm. If you can have three points of contact that would be idea but in some situations 2 is enough. Hope this helps!

Im surprised to hear about you using a nikon lens on a rig. I feel like a lot of people underestimate them.

They're one of our favourites, we love the vintage yet clean look on them.
Thank you for sharing these videos, it's very fun and practical to see these breakdowns. I was curious to know which friction arm you use, would you be willing to share the info? Thanks!

Hi can’t we do this kind of interview shoots with two small LED lights?
I’m sorry but this isn’t a small production…
@TenfoldProduction

This is all relative, some projects have 20 people and some have 5. Really depends on the project.

@@TenfoldProduction Can’t imagine what a solo filmmaker is classed, atom sized production?
@SamA-kl6pi
4 ай бұрын
@@SooDamGood or just solo filmmaker. Not in the “ production “ realm.
question is why? Why do some people still enjoy over complicating things? Less is more. Lighting was necessary 20 years ago because cameras were crap, for proper exposure they were using too much light. This interview could have been done with 2x simple softbox lighting and no viewers would see any difference.

Sometimes the answer is, why not :)

Haha. True but he does show minimal setups also here. For the interview, the book light = softer look and hard light on back wall = interest/ depth. It all helps...
