    Loved the energy you bring for sure. Just to touch on the ring issue for future CNAs watching, it's important not to wear jewelry at all, which you learn in school, because jewelry can scratch, cut or cause abrasions on the residents skin which is a no no especially for diabetics. Also, I noticed in the beginning that you sprayed yourself with fragrance. That's also a HUGE no no as a resident can be allergic or have an adverse skin reaction to whatever it is you're spraying on yourself. Other than that, keep being a bright light! ❤

    Frustration is a very positive sign. It means that the solution to your problem is within range, but what you're currently doing isn't working, and you need to change your approach in order to achieve your goal.

That is what is going to happen to you in life. No one gets through unscathed. We are all going to have a few scratches on us. Please be kind to yourselves and stand up for yourself, please.

    about to start school for personal support worker (canadian version of a CNA) how have u handled working nights? has it taken a toll on ur body? thanks !!x

  • @AlyashaYasmeen

    @AlyashaYasmeen

    Жыл бұрын

    Hey Congratulations!🎊 Working nights can be difficult but it depends on the person. Working nights can mix up your sleeping schedule, (I usually sleep during the day) and on my days off I have a hard time running errands cause I get tired, and my body is up at night😭Depends on your preferences. But I would would say be mindful of body mechanics and always keep in mind that although you’re trying to help these people, you still have to care for yourself. Often times people get hurt in this field because they don’t put themselves as a priority. So I would say prioritize self care days on your days off and just relaxing when you can ☺️ I’m gonna do a video about it!
