Hi! I've been accepted to Baylor and all of my costs should be covered, except for the meal plan. Do you think Baylor is worth it? How have you liked it so far? I'm down to either Baylor or UTSA. I know the schools are not comparable, and while UTSA would be cheaper, I'm wondering if Baylor would be worth it since I'd really only have to worry about the meal plan. I honestly really wanna go because Baylor seems so nice, but I'm so indecisive and scared honestly LOL to move somewhere 9 hours away

I’ve been at Baylor for the past seven years (undergrad and grad studies) and this has been a deeply formative place. I’m not sure I could be doing what I’m doing now without the people and resources here.

Wow having that all covered except the meal plan is amazing! Congrats! I mean ultimately it comes down to your preference for how far you want to be from home and what you think of the environment. For me I really can’t imagine myself at any other college 😂 My choice was easier in a way because I knew that I really loved my violin Professor, so I chose Baylor mostly for that reason. I know the college decision process is very difficult but I’ll be praying that you can make the right decision for you! I’m excited for you in this next chapter of your life! ☺️ Thanks for watching!

@@elsahluan I'm extremely grateful for sure! All thanks to my dad, I'm using his benefits to go to college. Otherwise I could only dream of attending Baylor 😭 I'm gonna have to move far away either way, as I'm all the way in El Paso. So I think I'll probably be going with Baylor... but going to wait till FAFSA comes out to make a final decision. Thank you so much for the prayers! One of the things that really draws me to Baylor is how friendly everyone seems and that it's generally smaller classes from what I heard (at least for STEM), so professors really care more about you as a person and can help you better is what I've heard! Seems like an amazing school, hope to attend this fall Lord willing !!

Congrats on your acceptance! I'm a freshman here at Baylor (also literally from 9 hours away too lol) and can't even begin to explain how much I love it!! I obviously can't really compare it to any other school but echoing what others have said I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Highly recommend :)

Don't worry. I'm a freshman right now and I had to get a huge loan but I don't regret it. I love love love Baylor. My professors have been so helpful especially when it comes to changing my major. I used to be biochemistry but now I'm religion. My professors had a great impact on my decision. There are so many places to study. The chapel is amazing with Faith and Fellowship. Allen has ping-pong tournaments. I've meet so many people. My first semester was hard but now that I'm set with what I want to study, it has been soooo amazing. I actually enjoy studying :) I really hope the best for you
