Iam so blessed to found your wonderful channel. I applied for job at kindergartens as English teacher for toddlers, preschoolers. Actually we in Arabic countries in the past only study Arabic in elementary schools and began to study English little bit late at intermediate schools. Last decade they began to teach kids since kindergartens basic English skills such as letters , numbers parts of homes , colors , greetings. Short stories. Honestly iam only subscriber in several British and American KZread channels so that I love to be lifelong leaner, make use of KZread channels. I always keeping notebooks and pen beside me to look for new information, new vocabularies. I am sure I will be not just ordinary teacher . As I read you teach kids at first grade how to be independent readers , improve their phonics, grammar skills including capitalization, punctuation, handwriting skills, writing their names. You teach kids substance fractions,with numbers up to 20 . How to tell time . Measure objects in math. Science curriculum water cycle , plants, insects . Iwish I can learn a lot from your knowledge to be ideal teacher , we became intimate friends from now on my name is Turkish origin means Nobel lady as princess what yours ? Please . Do you have any students that arrive just before school starts? If so do you have them do their morning work Or Just go to the bins... I really want to do morning work with my group I have some that do morning care and are at school for an hour and a 1/2 and then others who don't even arrive till right as school starts.. So I am torn on what to do but I do see a need to break up the morning tubs because of the high energy it it creates for such a long period of play time for some of the students.

How do you know what to teach? Do they give you a detailed guideline to follow 😩

Do you make enough as a young teacher to afford your own apartment/house? I always wanted to be a teacher but here in my state starting wage is 35-38,000/yr not enough to live independently on.
