What are the drops you're using during your skin care routine? And, what's the beautiful plant you have in your shower? Haha thanks so much!     Hi Are Australian nurses allowed to work in America? Does usa accept Australia RN degree? If our bachelor's degree is in a field other than nursing, which university can we study for the master's degree to become a RN?

    Parking isn't free for healthcare workers in Australia. It usually costs $20 per day for staff I believe.

    Hi i have a quick question hope you can help, we are currently in the middle of our visa application for pr to aus from uk, but in the mean time my wife has been accepted here in the uk to start her nursing degree in September , lets say as she finishes her first year and our visa get's accepted, can she start 2nd year of uni in aus? Ir would she have to start first year again, have you heard of anyone doing This? Thanks

    Hi there, Its very subjective when it comes to job applications. I would say, just apply for the jobs you are interested in Australia and see if they offer you any. At the same time, apply for NZ ones too to be on the safe side.

    Nursing students are always buddied with RNs and ENs, they never take patient load on their own. I studied nursing in Australia :)

    Hi Jaskaran, I hear it’s easier for registered nurses than it is for enrolled nurses, but both are eligible for permanent residency as of now (as both are on Skilled Occupation List). I hope this helps :)

    Hola Judit. Apart from a good Physiology and Pathology book. I would recommend 2 more: “ECG made easy “ and “Medications made easy” are 2 books I used to review frequently up until 16 months back when I retired. Good luck with your nursing career in Australia Judit Rincón.

    @@bartj1940 Some parts of Tasmania and Victoria do. NSW and QLD do but not sure on the other states. And that is just the public sector. I’m sure about the private

    @@alycewells1559 I really don't get it, why RN have to do all the basic care even if there are health care assistants. In Europe it works differently, RN don't do stuff like hygiene, this is why i'm afraid to move to Australia and work as a RN, I don't want to be downgraded.

    Hi Enam, Mostly yes! But it totally depends on where one ends up working as a nurse. I work in an emergency department and it gets pretty hectic compared to working in a GP clinic let’s say.

    In Australia, they’re not very biased in terms of gender about the job. So you wouldn’t have to worry about anything like that at all. Both male and female nurses are supported in Australia.

    @@judyseav2217 just a question : She (Pawan) has mentioned in tone of her comments that she works 40 hours (full time). Is the rate same for all types of nurses, for emergency dept. nurse, aged care nurses, medical, etc.?

    Hi Shimul, Yeah unfortunately you'll need a higher score. I understand how frustrating it can get to give the test over and over again. Why don't you try PTE instead, it's much easier to get through with a higher score. All the best :)

    ​@@shimulali7331pte is a computer based test which includes speaking writing listening and reading in which scores can be gained easily than ielts which is acceptable in Australia.

    Yes you can Target high paying jobs Work as much as you can during vacations Try getting weekend shifts as much as possible to get higher rates

    @@Praveentricks yes But still vacations are the golden period You can work for as many hours as you want And multiple jobs For 3 to 4 months Every year Plus the rest of the months while studying 24 hours a week is sufficient Just do the maths
