My dad got me a brand new 1980 CR80R when I was 12. And we kept it at my aunts house and didn’t tell mom for 6 months. My dad wouldn’t ride but he’d take me and my friends and he’d work on his truck and listen to the giants game while we rode. I’ll always remember him smiling, filling my tank up, with a lit cigarette in his mouth. Miss you, Dad!
