Probably the force of one firework rocket pushed over or disrupted the trajectory of another rocket. All they had to do was stage the fireworks in the parking lot.

Yeah, don't go to something calling itself the "Stadium of Fire"

I was there I watched when this happened. It was scary to watch. I watched 2 go into the air turn and I thought two hit the stands but one went into the stand one exploded on the east side of the field.

Fireworks are the worst! Fire, shrapnel okay bring your kids!

I'm Glad that they seem they will be okay! I heard two or 3 stories of people getting there hands blown off this 4th!

Yeah. In my state nearby, I used to go to a golf course for their display. My mom quit going with me to that venue when she got hut by one the size of a saucer and with flaming bits burning our blanket. Then I quit going becauae of a drunk driver in a golf cart hitting my kid.

Let me take a wild guess, the fireworks were made in China....CHINA!!! I don't buy food from or dog toys , especially baby teething hell no baby safety chairs or toys from china...i believe its not only the communist government trying to poison us, they just use horrible toxic plastics for their products. Yes they had put melamine powder into babies food for thickening agent ... but lets say they were made in the good ole' US OF A . I still stand by my word. I want to go back to the time when things i bought had the good and true name stamped on the bottom JAPAN you just never see that now a days ,but when i do, i buy it with assurance its quality brand. 😂❤ im a Canadian by the by😂🇬🇧🇨🇦🇦🇺🇺🇸😉👍 oops i didnt mean to post this in your thread. This is why I hate fireworks. Even the professionals can have accidents. If you’re firing them over a body of water, like a big river or a lake, at least then it makes sense. Firing them off inside a city, and particularly inside a football stadium, really seems like a stupid idea. Especially in a desert state like Utah, fireworks in general are ridiculous.

@@SongMom8 - whoever that was in charge of that fiasco better have a lot of liability insurance, I would love to be at Monday morning meetings when they do the breakdown of their 4th of July extravaganza. I would bet at least one forward looking sole will utter “I told you it was a bad idea”

That girl is both pretty and tough. She's pretty tough. Gets hit with incendiary device, gets burned, chemically assaulted with toxic fumes in her mouth she can taste, but gets back in line and does her job, then talks about it casually afterwards. The show must go on. Gotta hand it to these Mormon women.

Just imagine, you're in a small village and a RPG skims right by your head and takes out the guy behind you. As you're getting a medic for him, you see a squadron of enemy fighter jets fly over. You can now get this experience for the low low ticket price of $48. Seating is limited.

This is what happens when we buy fireworks from China where they employ literal children to work in factories instead of having our fireworks made in America! 😅

You wouldn't pay the prices if fireworks were American-made. Also, just because something is made in America is no guarantee of quality.

I don’t understand, thousands of people in a bowl, hundreds if not thousands of pounds of explosives in the same bowl, mix in some matches or blasting caps, …. What could possibly go wrong ? 🧨💣🧨🧨💣+🔥=💥☄️🚑🏥

I wonder if they ever thought about doing fireworks at night? Maybe they look really cool exploding in the dark? Or, maybe it’s time to switch to a drone show?

"god" doesn't like Jonas Brothers. Buying cheap factory seconds from the Chinese firework factory may be a secondary cause.

Well, a group of thugs just robbed a convenience store owner in Oakland and completely trashed his store. My sister lives in a nice area of Pleasanton and while they were gone, robbers went through their home. A gang of thieves stole jewelry, handbags, etc. from Nordstroms in Walnut Creek. Peoples cars get broken into while sightseeing at Fisherman’s Wharf. I think you are better off where you are.
