Day 9 - Camino Invierno - Vilariño to Penasillas - Day 48 Overall
28 kms today, a bit longer than planned. Vilariño to Penasillas. I missed the Hotel turn off and had to double back! This is where I stayed. www.gronze.com/galicia/lugo/p... Great place! Hotel with an Albergue upstairs.

Sorry about the delay in publishing. I was overseas for a few days. I'll try to get this Invierno series published one per day to get it all finished! Then on to the Fisterra / Muxia section..........
That walk down and up was one of my favourites. I do wish I had stopped in the town, it was so lovely.

Yes it was a great day. But nothing at all was open.......
I loved the walk down to Belesar, and the climb up to Chantada wasn't as taxing as I thought it was going to be. I'm pleased I wasn't the only one who didn't see a 100k marker - I thought I may have missed it, but now think that there just wasn't one 😊
