Packsaddle Campground next to Packer Lake. We went there every summer for a decade of visiting cousins and climbed that trail up to the Buttes Lookout. I've hiked the PCT from Sierra City up to Chester, back before it burned so badly (our son and his crew fought those fires one year when we were there). It's a really beautiful area with lots of nice lakes and mountain views. I hope you enjoyed it!

I think the scenery on this stretch is so beautiful. I hope Bird call gets some good pictures from this stretch. Thank you for sharing your journey.
