The pot roast chicken that the guyanese folks make is made with something called casreep which stems from cassava and molasses. It gives a bold and delicious flavor to food. We burn sugar and stew our chicken so it’s abit different. Same brown effect but it taste deliciously different.

Hi dear, so we bought everything fresh, washed and froze them in ziploc bags days prior to traveling. We came in on a late flight and had no problems clearing immigration. Once you fill out your declaration form and declare what you’re bringing in, you should be fine. Hope this was helpful.
