It's really great to see two lovely Americans seeing a bit of the English countryside rather than just going to London and saying "We've done England" or visiting the Cotswolds and just visiting a couple of villages or towns that crowds of tourists seem to focus on. Well done. I've enjoyed every step of your video hike along the Cotswold Way.
If you think Cooper’s Hill seemed steep going up, imagine running down it. Chasing a wheel of cheese…

Less like running and more like tumbling
I'm hiking the Cotswolds in May. I will turn 71 soon after, and have to laugh at how all is 'downhill' after 30! Make fitness and hiking a lifetime goal, and you will reap the benefits big time!!
Well that's been an unexpected but wonderful 90-minute binge watch. Absolutely loving it!
This is turning out to be a really nice set of videos - well done! 🙂
You are in my part of the world!, I live a stone's throw from Painswick. It's nice to see the South Cotswolds covered as it is so often centred around Bourton, Stow and the Slaughters. It's a shame you not only missed Cooper's Hill, but walked right past Painswick Beacon which is by the golf course. It's the highest point in the district and you can get spectacular views across Gloucester right out to the Severn river. I had to look up your route, so you will head west and go around Stroud and head through to Stonehouse, which is a pity, as that area is beautiful, particularly the Slad valley.
Inspiring - I wish my health would allow me to follow in your footsteps. Remember walking is extremely good for your mental health as well as your physical health.....
Fantastic, absolutely fantastic episode guys! Brilliantly marketed and composed upload!
Did this trek in August. I am used to harder trails in Scotland but I under estimated it to be honest. More difficult than it seems because of all the up and down you do several times a day. Oh and the heat doesn't help.
Disney World or Cotswold Way ? I'm impressed that you kept going !! Well Done
Love to see the Cotswolds Highlighted. Thank you

Great video. Enjoying your challenge.👏👏👏👏
I am so enjoying your video series on the Cotswold Way, I'm binge-watching. I just wanted to say your filming and editing is excellent, the perfect length, gives a good sense of the area. Rach I am so impressed that despite the pain which I can feel right through the screen, you kept going with such a positive spirit.
I am really enjoying sharing your hike, it's a lovely part of the country you are seeing. Cannot wait for you both to see Bath, its the loveliest town in England and very unique, and I say that as a Northerner.
You're doing great, guys. Looking forward to more of your hike.
Hope you googled Cooper's Hill, it's where they have the annual cheese-rolling competition; madness on a slope!🧀😮
I really feel your pain, sweetheart. I’ve been there. We are a tiny island, but tiny A to tiny B can still be a hell of a trek. Just talk away happy memories. We are nice people and we love you two. X
Hope you both had, and have a happy 30th!
You’re a lovely couple…..hopefully all the blisters have healed and the aches disappeared. It’s a bit late but Happy Birthday

Thank you so much! We are fully healed!
The guys who do the Coopers Hill cheese rolling must be crazy. It's a tradition so I guess we have to encourage it. Lol.. 😅
Great effort. Lovely part of the world. Best wishes on future adventures. First time watching.
was a brilliant journey with you guys. am actually thinking about doing it myself now. much respect Birmingham UK ✌️🇬🇧.
Love the love for Rugby i am Scottish and started sort of playing at 4 years old so did my brother its in our DNA. The 6 nations is a yearly fantastic tournament. England v's Scotland match is never missed. The Way will have been there a long time befor the Golf Club. The trees around the church were used by Druids a long time before Christians to protect places. In the UK we have a fèw Druid things that still exist because the Cristians repurpoused them. The big one is Christmas the day and yul log, misseltow are Pagen things.
Love what you are doing - such great content.
Loving this video series . Nice to see visitors to our great country leaving London . I bet your legs are aching while editing these ? Lol .

Happy 30th bday
5:39 Metaphorical Woods? Couldn’t find that on the map. Is it north or south of Cooper’s Hill?
Have you guys done this walk without any training ? If so this is even more impressive Did you not have any specific blister plasters to help repair your feet ?
How about walking Emperor Hadrian's wall next year
Thanks so much for sharing your journey! I'm from WI and we're going to walk CW in May. Planning to walk it in 11 days. How did you train for this walk?

Amazing! We did not train...maybe we should have, ha! What part of WI? My mom is from Racine!
I just feel like this walk was a slog…I’ve walked in the Cotswolds and never did this many miles. Maybe 8 at the most in my mid 50’s and enjoyed it. I would never do this many miles at once. You two were very brave and probably a bit naive.

Hahaha naive is RIGHT!
No not 30. Later. Much later. Things start to hurt when you bend down etc. but when you’re 30 , you’re still babies. How I wish I could be 30 again.
You're beautiful, my darling!❤.
