I know when I’ve loved a book and the characters because I miss them once I’ve finished the book!📕 Today I managed to paint four smaller paintings and created some social media posts for both my art and my book. 🎉

Hey Mary you look lighter and brighter today, so happy to see the sparkle back in your eye. It's a great question to ponder for me, on how I can sprinkle the joy into everything I do. I'm off to the homeless centre this morning and working on applications this afternoon, lets see if I can be equally joyful at both!

If you haven’t read Rick Rubin’s The Creative Act, it is wonderful on creativity. Do you ever record a section of your writing and listen to it while walking? I find it great for clarity and revision.

Hi Lucy: I haven’t read that book, so thank you for the recommendation. I do read my work aloud, and I also sometimes dictate a first draft of some sections, particularly dialogue. Thanks so much for watching today.
I love the notion of making my life a work of art. Like you, I don't know what that means or looks like, but it feels like it would be a richer experience - like living in HD colour instead of black and white. As for today's progress: 1) 30 minute evening walk in sunshine! 2) A couple of rows of knitting. 3) Drafted the copy for the landing page of my website. All in all slow but steady progress.
