one thing i wish they did for the sunday is keep the ultra beasts (at least the regional ones) on sunday as well. having to go for all those shinies with everything else going on was a bit much, sunday would’ve lightened the load

Not a single hundo necromaza but caught 5 shiny and caught 30 shiny...reached 40 level from 38 in 18 hours

The fusion Energy amount is RIDICULOUSLY LOW. 9 free with a ticket and it takes 20 raids to get enough energy to do 1 of each fusion

Finished the Go Fest and was really disappointed the fusion requirement is over 1000 energy. Really hope they introduce a more efficient way for fusion energy soon. One a more positive note, finally got Solgaleo, Wugtrio, and Necrozma in the Dex, as well as a couple of shinies and even a hundo Necrozma.

I caught 13 shinys. It took me a hour and 30 mins to catch my 1st shiny. I thought I was going to get more since the area I played in has a lot of pokestops and Gyms and there was over 100 players at the park. Hopefully today for Day 2 I can get more

Tested separating and refusing necrozma today, I dunno how I feel about needing to use 1000 energy to fuse necrozma that has been separated/fused once already, would really prefer them follow the mega/primal energy system where there's a cool down but having energy lower cost to fuse.

Yeah, but unlike mega. Fusion stays forever and you can have multiple of them. So it does not really make sense for them to have the same rules.

This year’s Go Fest was probably my best one yet!…. And I’ve only ever played the global version

This was my first gofest and I was able to get 16 shinys this weekend and 2 shiny necrozmas. And I did fuse them with lunala from the special research and cosmog from the free one!

BEST GO FEST EVER FOR ME!!! Day 1 55 shinies, Day 2 38 shines and the best part ever, Hundo Necrozma, and SHUNDO Necrozma from a lucky trade!

This global Go Fest was definetly my best one yet!!😊 101 Necrozma raids, 6 shinies and 2 98%ivs! Ill take it 🎉 26 shinies total from this event 2 shiny corsolas definitely made the weekend to!!!❤ The egg pool was horendous tho😢 over 100 eggs hatched and 1 shiny emolga

Wrapped up GoFest weekend with 85 shinies and 9 shinies during the Ultra Beasts raid week. Also nabbed 2 hundo Necrozma and met a lot of new local players in my area so very happy with my GoFest experience!

Both huge in game events Pokemon Festival and Regional Tours start at 9.00a.m to 1p.m. in your (country local time) morning session. After that, break time for Pokemon Go players within 1.00p.m to 4.00p.m.(local country time) this 3 hours allow all Pokemon Go players to have their lunch ( food & beverage) also time to recharge smartphone, auto catcher also portable battery charger. (local country time) 4p.m. to 8p.m.(local country time) evening session Pokemon Festival and Regional Tours. Yeah! First ever night experience in Pokemon Festival and Regional Tours in Pokemon Go! After 8.00 p.m. ( local country time), the end of the both huge Pokemon Go in game events and Pokemon Go players enjoy dinner or back to homes. ( taking bath)

i got 62 shinies from this weekend very fun event i am missing some shinies like lunatone and golett but got a lot of my goals completed like phantump and umbreon

I thought I was just having rubbish RNG this Gofest (5000 balls used for 18 non raid shinies- 5 of which were duplicates over 14 hours of event game play), until I started to talking to others in the local community here in NZ. It wasn't just me, most if not all (I didn't talk to everyone, so maybe someone lucked out lol) were having the same abysmal RNG luck despite purchasing the ticket. Necro shiny rates closer to 1 in 50 for everyone here, IVs were low across the board- very few were in the 90% range & then ticketed players were not pulling in a higher rate of shinies than non-ticked players. Not soken to a single person who was happy with the event- most felt the $26 price tag for a ticket was decidedly not worth it given the rubbish rates for shinies in & out of raids. Only thing that I was happy with was I finally got a shiny Tyrunt- I only got one, but I've hunted that thing since it was released- done over 1000 checks for it since it was released. I would have loved a ducklett, chose the ducklett pathway for that reason. So of course I got zero shiny ducklett despite over 200 checks for it on day 2 alone 🤦‍♀ Guess I'll eventually get one about 18 to 24 months from now lol. I didn't even try to go after the pink dragon, I'll wait for it to have a com day next year lol.

this go fest was kinda weird for me at least, 20 raids 10 for solgaleo and 10 for lunala is alot especially after day ones ultra beast raids so i only got half of the energy to fuse for each. It was just really bitsy managing phone battery raids and spawns, i'm surprised how good it turned out considering it was a a real 50/50 event, half good, half bad. both spawns and raids were either average or amazing so i'm feeling pretty meloncholy atm.

What are these raid shiny rates? I did 30+ raids yesterday and not a single shiny. Those are the worst rates I’ve ever had raiding. I’ve also had 6 shinies run from my go plus while I was raiding. What made the day for me was the community coming through with some lucky trades. I managed to get some really nice IV shinies, and I did catch a few needed shinies outside of the raids. Overall a decent day but not happy with the raid rates.

You are so night about Jangmo. I think I saw about a dozen all day. My son did get a shiny but there were so few of them.

Question: I’m trying to complete the “Masterwork Research: Wish Granted - Have 10 Best Buddies”, so if I reach Best Buddies with either Necrozma fusions and I separate them will they both be Best Buddies (2 for 1 combo)? Granted I still have a long way to go. Thus far I only have 2 Best Buddies, but been rotating the same 8 Pokemon daily for several weeks (all at different heart counts) averaging 6-8 hearts per Pokemon daily.

I did a ton of Necrozuma raids yesterday and well into the night I managed to get myself 2 shinys 1 with the special background and 1 without the special background and 1 regular Necrozuma with the special background I got all kinds of stuff including some shinys I didn't have and completing a shiny family a year apart from each other I got the 1st 1 last year and yesterday I got the 2nd during the global go fest hours yesterday so even if I don't get the rest of what I want today I can still say I had a good go fest this year looking forward to getting Dusk Mane Necrozuma with the special fusion background I still haven't gotten shiny Jangmo-o but it's all good because I have community day next year for Jangmo-o during go fest season so it's fine besides community day I'll be able to finish the shiny Jangmo-o family in 1 go good luck to everyone on their day 2 of global go fest hopefully everyone gets what they want for me even if I don't get everything I want with everything I got yesterday I'm happy and can say that I had a good go fest

Having the fusion on page 5 of the research page is just annoyingly sneaky. I don't RAID. I don't live anywhere with a community that RAIDs. I travelled to another city to play com day and when page 4 had no fusions, I fused both mine as I had managed to scrape enough together to do one of each. And now I have no energy left to fuse with and no option to RAID to get any as I cannot afford buying remote passes. So I guess that's a research I will have with me forever

After 130+ Necrozmas 3 shinys and 2 hundos was an expensive weekend

Had a blast. spent way more than usual (mostly on remote raid passes) and my only regret is the rest of the year isnt this hyped. Apart from the Rayquaza makeup day the rest of what we know is coming up is kind of a yawnfest. Back to not spending money and only 5 remotes a day......Niantic will you ever learn.

my cousin and i play free to play and im honestly so disappointed with how little i can do compared to ticket holders. Niantic is gatekeeping boosted shiny odds, any good incense spawns, eggs, and even raiding from people who dont want to spend the $15. glad that all of you who bought the ticket did well, but just disappointed how pay to win this event was. :(

Here's the thing about Pokemon Go though. Don't fall into FOMO. Fear of missing out. The game WILL release things later for free. This has happened several times over. Every go fest I get the new Dragon shiny. Within a year my friends have it as well. Hundreds of them.

I paid and didn’t do that well. In our all paid people didn’t do better than the free people as far as shiny count. They just had a few better spawns

I did 85 Necrozma raids across the 2 days and got 0 shinies… can’t say I’m happy right now

I totally have no luck with the eggs. I hatched 500 eggs during the larvesta egg event and I got nothing. So this jangmo egg I hatch not more than 30 and that’s it. Lots of eggs event always got nothing so hate it.

I'm glad it's formatted this way to at least give a small chance to players who aren't able to fill up their lobbies as easily.

@@juanfromdennys Maybe I worded it kinda poorly but the gist of it is that if you're not getting 10+ people in raids during the biggest PoGO event of the year you got bigger problems than getting enough dawn and dusk energy

I feel they squeeze too much in so little time. Dumb decision to make us wait til sunday to scrape up 1000 energy for each form of necrozma when it takes 9 minimum raids each form to get it. Then there were plenty bugs as well. My mom got kicked out of raids TWICE, once Saturday and once Sunday. Just hope they see all the issues and issue a free makeup event but i wont hold my breath
