When SA was 9 wickets down, only 1 wicket left, why rohith was still giving ball to prasidh krishna? That added another 15 runs to SA score. Rohith immediately should have given ball to Bhumra. Then the target would have been 10 runs less.

​@@markwillies7666 Markram's wicket was the game changer this match. If he stayed, imagine how much SA would have made and probably would have enough time to bowl India out. But thats the difference between these 2 teams. One bowling attack unit is far sharper and experienced than the other and you can see that with India's comeback this series. Congrats to them though, still think SA needs to learn quickly from these oppositions if they wish to beat India in a series - by being consistent.

Having said that, scoring a hundred did not take too much effort or application from Markram? Severe lack of concentration and dedication by SA batters in both innings. At least half the SA batters in first innings played incredibly bad shots...ie Dezorzi getting caught down the leg side to name but one instance. Perhaps rather look at the SA batting coach and Coach instead of the blaming the groundsman.

Finding the right lengths in SENA countries is the important thing. You can't go searching for wickets if conditions are favouring the bowlers. Just look at the lengths SA bowlers kept in the Centurion Test. You can't serve up half-volleys in helpful conditions. Keep it just short of the driving length on such pitches.

Shows the incompetence of pitch curators in South Africa. Wanderers was a fast bowlers dream now it has become a spinners paradise. So was Durban. In 1996, South Africa got 500-something at the same venue i.e. Newlands in Cape Town.
