Day Three Updates: When it comes to the Amazfit watches, yes, the Cheetah Pro is one of my favorites. It lacks a readiness score/recovery score like the Balance. I had hoped that Amazfit would add it to the Cheetah Pro this month, but I don't think that is in the cards. With the HELIO Ring though, yeah, the Cheetah Pro becomes the dynamic duo of smart wearables 😉 J 05/23/2024, fully charged at 18:30 05/25, 2024, Day Three with the HELIO Ring and the battery life is at 37% with it only being off my finger for about 2hrs since it was unboxed.

An interesting topic, wedding rings. I wonder... would my wife allow me to upgrade from an analog tungsten wedding ring to a smart-wedding-ring 2024 technology? Love is love whether it charges or not?

Picked one of these up and it's the best companion to my Amazfit watches. Now if I want to wear a normal watch I still have access to tracking and recovery capabilities

@@PeterHerget I got size 12.rocking a Cheetah pro, cheetah square (found it on eBay since it's not in the US) Trex 2, gtr4 and gtr 3 limited edition. Also have a Galaxy watch 5 pro and one plus watch 2. I think Amazfit watches are awesome. Just need esim and payments in the US .

WOW! It appears I am not the only watchhead collecting wearables in 2024 ;) Nice assortment of timepieces you have and yes, an e-SIM for the Amazfit Falcon, T-Rex 3 Pro, or some other smartwatch that Amazfit is cooking up would be pretty cool... I use the e-SIM in my Apple Watch 6 all the time, but just recently cancelled the $5.00 per month service to save for more gadgets. The e-SIM inside my Galaxy Watch6 Classic functions just as smoothly as an Apple Watch. For a while Garmin made one, but the battery life and overall functionality was not quite fully baked.

😅I’m not a smart ring expert but the most important will be status, accurate readings, battery life. If a company is going to have a subscription service no one should pay than that company better on top otherwise it’s wasted money & resources I managed 15,000 steps in 10 miles I feel proud my legs hurt Amazing video as always Pete 🙌

Thank you, BigMaxCC. Yeah, the battery life made nearly four days and that was with over three hours of workouts. Other smart ring take a huge battery hit after a work too. As for the accuracy, it is promising thus far and I will need another 11 days of usage. I quite enjoy wearing one less watch to bed at night. And it is exciting to thing that on my fingers right now are three different smart-rings from three different organizations from all around the world. Good times for a gadget wearing Geek like me... Nope, there is no subscription fee when you buy the ring, and no fees six months later either.

Amazfit Helio Ultrahuman Ring Air Circular Ring Neither of these three ring companies charge subscription fees. Now, both Amazfit & Ultrahuman have in-app purchases for extra data and services. Alas, if you simply want to wear the ring to track your sleeping, hr, naps, HRV, breathing, steps, workouts, and 22 other health metrics. Yes, you just pay the price of the ring and that is it. I do not yet know if the Helio Ring is better than the Ultrahuman Ring Air, but it is the newest. And both the Helio Ring or the UHRA is far better than the Circular Ring. The company over yonder in Paris, France has struggled with Bluetooth issues, Beta-app software, and just an overall consistent health-tracking experience. Circular recently posted a video on their website quasi apologizing for the last 18 months. Post Script: ŌURA Ring not only sells one of the most expensive smart rings, but also charge you too see your data about $7.00 per month with taxes included. It is a bummer for during their first four years of service it was all free. When I upgraded from the ŌURA Ring gen 2.0 to their ŌURA Ring gen 3.0 they offered many customers like me an option to upgrade within 99 days and get a lifetime membership. Ergo, I spend $350.00 and bought the silver size 13 ŌURA Ring generation 3 you saw in the video. I wore four rings today: 1. Amazfit Helio Ring (size 12, tungsten, on my left index finger) 2. Ultrahuman Ring Air (size 12, bionic gold, on my right index) 3. ŌURA Ring gen3 (size 13, silver, on my right thumb) 4. ŌURA Ring gen3 (size 10, black, on my right ring) 5. ENSO Ring (Star Wars, size 10, on my left ring finger temporarily replacing my wedding ring for my fingers are fatter now than they were decades ago...)

@@PeterHerget Great news. Amazfit watches always scores really high with sleep score for me it was tough to be under 90 so I am waiting if Helio ring would be more accurate in sleep tracking. Also I have a question, if you wear for example cheetah pro and Helio ring to bed, you might get different sleep results in there so in the zepp app it would got together but in the watch I would have a different sleep score and tracking? Or will it change there also? I need to wear watch to bed for wake up alarm

In short, you can wear one, both, or just switch them around night after night. Yes, I wear two watches to bed in order to avoid sleeping in too late. If you wear both a Cheetah Pro and the Helio Ring the data is merged. @@PeterHerget oh didn't know about the reddit page, it looks great thank you! So I understand that in the zepp app you will see only one merge data, but then it will change on the watch or will it stay in the watch as it was or will it update according to zepp app? For example after the night watch tells me that my sleep score is 90 and 8h of sleep and in the app it shows sleep score 85 and 7h 50m time of sleep, will it change than in the watch or stay and will be different in the app and the watch? Thanks 👍

@@basketball24fans Yeah, I am pretty sure it was NOT a coincidence that Amazfit chose me to be their 1st Reviewer to release a video. It was a pleasure and I made a list already for them to work and fix things before the release of the Helio Ring 2.0 in 2025. That being said, I turned off my Cheetah Pro and now I simply see all data from the ring. If there is not data to merge from an Amazfit watch into the ZEPP Android app, well, yes, it is just the ring data and it is lovely. I'll be sharing that "ring" data soon... I wore both the Cheetah Pro and the Helio Ring to bed and in the morning...

Yes, the Helio Ring does track naps, but not exactly like an ŌURA Ring or the Ultrahuman Ring Air. My next video about this Helio Ring will dive into sleep and naps to better answer your question. Thanks for your patience and for watching.

Yes, and yes, and I believe that to be true. 1. Most gadgets sold in 2024 have built-in memory and if they do not, nope, hard pass on my part and yours. 2. The Helio Ring is smart and has a lovely built-in memory. My connected smartphone, a Galaxy Z Flip5, does not have the world's longest battery life. I placed it into airplane mode for about six hours yesterday while traveling. When I returned to the realm of Wi-Fi, clean water, and electricity, yes, I fliped the switch, and the ZEPP app took over from there synchronizing all it's missing data. The ZEPP app also strives to pull data from my connect Amazfit Cheetah Pro; alas, that has been off for over 30 hours. 3. The bulk upload took just seconds to bring me, and the ZEPP app up to date. 4. Yes, the Helio Ring tracks naps, sleep, and 33 other health metrics, and I need more time to discover all 44. 5. The style, design, weight, and accuracy appear to be legit for a smart piece of jewelry during May 2024. 6. Is the Helio Ring as smart as an Ultrahuman Ring Air, a Circular Ring from Paris, France? Please see line item # seven 7. Time and love are two of my most valuable assets. I only have 24 hours each day, just like you. And I only have so much love to give unto others. Due to the demands in my life I am already stretched to the limit. It is going to be another 88 hours before I share another video about this Helio Ring. My honeymoon testing phase ended nicely and as I begin Day Six it is only on its second charge cycle - noice! See you in 88 hours or longer for this gadget testing scenario...

You had the ring on wrong. In some of the views of the ring, that little notch goes on the bottom.

Yes, the ring moves once in while and the notch goes in different places. All of my smart rings twist and turn. If I said the notch goes on top, my apologies.
