Day 17: TWO Shooters In A Blizzard, New Quest

Day 17: TWO Shooters In A Blizzard, New Quest
I start with an update on my recurve quest, and then introduce a coinciding chase I've had when the conditions were not good for the recurve spot. I've had some great hunts and the next few videos will document those, ending on a high note! This first hunt consisted of some tough but beautiful conditions, and before the end of the night I had two shooters working my direction.

Kind words simply don't do justice to the quality of your videos or, even more important, to your hunting ethics and quiet, skillful presentations. Thank you, Jared. Please don't change a thing.

Thank you Chris, I appreciate that. It's easy to not change because it's just the way I hunt and the way I love to do it. It certainly may not be the content that creates the highest amount of clicks and views, but I'm grateful for the type of viewers like yourself that have interest and appreciate this style of video. So thank you again for the support.

Thanks Jared for sharing the great footage of the deer in the bean field. Hope you get a crack at 1 of those bucks! There was a younger buck with taller antlers that could be a absolute stud in a few years!

Thanks for bringing us your style of video and hunting. Toward the end of your Midwest whitetail run it was obvious there were frustrations. What you bring to the table, in my opinion, is more genuine and more respectful of the deer. My last three days in Iowa were a flop due to the winter storm but I can’t wait for shed hunting, scouting and the start of next season! Don’t change a thing Jared, your approach is unique and I always look forward to every moment. Happy new year!

I unfortunately made a bad, non vital shot, on my target buck here in Indiana on December 19th. I hunted him anytime the conditions made since afterwards, hoping to kill him. I wasn't able to seal the deal. The very day after season ended, the buck was standing outside the landowners home with several other deer. This was the first buckless season for me in quite awhile! Anyhow, I've enjoyed your videos alot!

Sounds good, I'll try and do another one at some point. I had gotten quite a bit of time with them prior to the other review I did though, and not much has changed other than I was able to test out the late season bibs that they should be launching this year. Everything has performed well for me and has held up well in some tough conditions.

Jared, what camera and lense do you use for your main camera? And how do you keep your go pro running in the cold, mine shuts off constantly! Awesome video man love your stuff

Hey PA, I primarily use my Sony a7siii along with a 70-300 lens. I did a camera gear video earlier in the season that goes a little more in depth if you want to check that out. As for the GoPro, you definitely need to get the Enduro batteries if you haven't already. Those are much better in cold weather.
